      Amazing tour!
We had an incredible day with Su. From the beginning she was professional, approachable and warm. She tailored the day to our interests and was always willing to take a fun picture or two! We were so impressed with her knowledge of the surrounding area and the teaching she provided on the history, communities, language, farming and every aspect of the every day lives of the communities. She was funny and added personal touches of her own experiences. The trek itself was moderate in difficulty with ups and downs through some muddy areas, the hardest part is before lunch and then it’s an easy walk. Lunch was quite tasty. The views were absolutely STUNNING, takes your breath away! The local ladies were wonderful in assisting us on the rough trail. Cool to see the hemp making of clothes and indigo dying at the end. Overall a fantastic way to spend a day in Sapa, would highly recommend

Mrs Su showed us the Sa Pa experience we hoped for, and more! Part 2/2
Day 2! Again Su absolutely killed it! She met us early the next morning with 3 motorbikes and made sure we knew what we were doing before taking us into the city to get gas, then off we went…our first stop was for a little hike through a park to see Love Waterfall. Then over the next 6 hours, we went deep into the mountains…Again Su’s immense knowledge of the area was incredible…she told us all about the local legends and customs as she led us on a 1 day guided motor bike tour through the mountains north of Sa Pa. Leading us through mountain roads, back alleys and local short cuts, we ended up in the Red Dzao Village were we had a late lunch and herbal bath, then we headed back down the mountain to Sa Pa having had the experience of a lifetime on a motor bike If you are making plans to visit Sa Pa, ignore the rest of the the tour groups and look for Vietnam Nomad Trails, and try to request for Su to be your guide, you wont be dissappointed! Safe Travels!

Mrs Su showed us the Sa Pa experience we hoped for, and more! Part 1/2
On a 10 year anniversary trip to vietnam, we chose Vietnam Nomad Trails and worked with the office to build a custom itinerary…on the first day we met our guide, Mrs. Su whose bubbly nature, sweet personality, and excellent english made our time in Sapa, beyond excellent…as an adventurous couple, we couldnt have asked for a better guide. Su went out of her way to take us off the beaten path, and told us all about the customs of her people and the various groups that lived in the valley. We trekked though jungle, rice terraces, and villages, ending our day doing handicrafts with some locals, all the while gawking at the breath taking views and experiencing village life…little did we know, the 2nd day, would bring even more adventure!

Beautiful and unique experience in Sapa
The views were great! Su was an informative and helpful guide. The homestay was clean and food was delicious. However, it rained throughout the trek and it was very muddy and slippery at the start.

      Unique experience and highly recommended!
Su was our guide for the 2-day homestay trekking tour, highly recommend her tour as she was very friendly and informative :) The homestay was clean, there was hot water and food was delicious yum! Views were amazing 🤩 However, as it rained prior to the tour, do note that the trek down to the homestay was muddy and would be relatively difficult for those who are not fit. There were locals helping us with our trek down. Highly suggest getting proper gear such as hiking shoes and poncho.

      Homestay was interesting
Guide, Su, is very knowledgeable and understanding. Shared with us a lot of fun facts/way of life in the villages during the trek. Homestay was a unique experience. Trekking feels a bit repetitive over time in terms of sights. Tracks were very muddy because of bad weather. But still a nice experience overall!

      Fun and unique experience
The guide (su) was really very nice and she was so knowledgeable and helpful during the entire trip. The views were really amazing. The only downside was that the rain was really big and made the roads abit slippery and muddy. Nonetheless, Su still do a good job in helping us enjoy this trek.

      Incredible life experience
I had Su as a tour guide and she led an incredible journey. She spoke English well which made it easy to learn about the local tribes and their way of life. She also takes amazing photos. After a hike through the rice fields, we were welcomed to our home stay. There was good WiFi and the hosts were kind. I could not more strongly recommend this experience.

      Great views, food, and people!
So glad we booked the three day trek, saw so much more and met great people. The home stays were cool to see and I felt comfortable. The food was great, got to try lots of local and traditional dishes. She was our guide and was amazing. Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable! I would do this again if I could, great way to see the lives of the Sa Pa people and those in the surrounding villages.

      Authentic Trek
Everything was great! Our lovely guide, Sue, was reliable and always there to help. We trekked through many villages and then stayed at two different homestays with delicious food and nice accommodations. Met great friends along the way. She was also very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Vietnamese and Hmong culture and way of life.

      Special SaPa experience with Sang!
Sang was an incredible guide - I did a motorbike tour from 8am - 3pm, and it could not have been more perfect. I struggle to walk much so couldn’t do a traditional trek, and this was such an amazing alternative. I saw villages that wouldn’t have been possible even on a four day trek! And Sang made the experience so special and perfect - so knowledgeable, great English, fab sense of humour. I got to see villages and incredible views, and she took so many pictures! (A real blessing as a solo traveller!) I would especially recommend to any solo females who are looking for a bespoke and special experience, and anyone who might be low on time in SaPa. Unforgettable, a real once in a lifetime experience.

We enjoyed our tour beginning with a downhill walk and then making our way through the villages.
Our lunch was served at a local house and was quite tasty.
Our friendly tour guide was very informative and provided lots of info on our surroundings.
The steep climb back uphill to meet the bus was quite challenging due to the incline and the deep mud.
All in all it was an enjoyable day, however a good degree of fitness is required.

Decided to do a day trekking the day before the tour. The communication via email was excellent and the tour guide very knowledgeable, friendly and excited to be showing us around. The morning mist cleared and the views of the paddy fields were amazing. So quiet and peaceful and it was interesting to see how the other half lived. Great lunch at a homestay and I would have been happy to end the tour there. From there we trapped through the paddy fields which we absolutely sodden with mud and almost half the group ended up covered! The bamboo forest trek again was really muddy and we raced through it so didn't even get the chance to take it all in. Tour should have finished at 3pm and we didn't get back to the hotel till 5pm and only just managed to get our connection back to the train station! Do away with the second half of the day and it would have been a superb day. Still very memorable but didn't enjoy the mud!

My friend and I booked a trek and were extremely happy to do it with Ai, a 22-year old female guide. In addition to knowing well her region and its secrets (plants and villages etc), she was very kind and friendly. The landscapes were amazing but the human dimension of this trek took the experience to another level. We recommand her 300%.

We had a great trek. Because of the many new building projects in the valley, the view isn't always that nice. But the second part between rice field, bamboo and corn fields was very special. Our guide Su was amazing, very friendly and super enthousiast!
