          Great guide and views
The amazing views of the reefs around the island and our guide Santi. He did a great job in explaining some history of the island and helped us get the best pictures.

The guide. His name is Cyril and he was like your best friend. His knowledge of the island was learned from his family and was authentic and presented to us in an easy way to understand.

          Beautiful Country- Beautiful People
Cy (who i recommend highly) took us on a tour of volcano accessible by road. And around whole island with a slice if history and tahitian hospitality. This and every tour I have been on in this country so far has been a great balance of culture, personality and adventure.

Felt Like Indiana Jones in the Jungle
Frank (A.K.A. The Last Cannibal) was super funny, knowledgeable, and overall a great tour guide. This was a change from the being in the water all day, everyday and it was worth every penny. You get into this jeep that climbs steep and rocky terrain to see the most beautiful views of Bora Bora. It's definitely a bumpy ride and you may get jolted around but that, for me, was super fun! 10/10 would recommend! For my parents who are on the overweight side, not so much, so just be sure you're fit to go.

Amazing tour, you have to do it!!
I think most people think Bora Bora is best seen from a boat or jetski, but being on the island and accessing 4x4 tracks gave us the most amazing views of the surrounding motus!! Frank is an awesome guide, very funny and knowledgeable, it was great to actually learn about Bora Bora's history and people. The stops were all great. I think the tour went for about 3.5 hours. Highly recommended!!

Great intro to BB and French Polynesia
We had such a great day with Franck! He picked us up on time (actually a few minutes early) from our accommodation and was immediately engaged, explaining about the island, its history, and the customs of people who currently live here. He took us on a private circle island tour on a 4x4, a drive which in itself is marvelous. On top of the flora (well explained!) and views we were blessed with on the paved road, the tour included 3 interesting stops that were located on the mountains and required a 4WD. The first is a lookout point, accessed by a private road, which is effectively on the ridge of a mountain, from where you can see both the east and west sides of the island. The second is a garden where Franck explained many different types of plants and their uses, and where the local artists did a pareo demonstration and showed us how to tie pareos (properly!). The third is the site of two GI cannons, steeped in history. Overall a great tour! Franck was friendly and very accommodating, for example we spent a little longer looking at pareos to buy a few and he didn't pressure us at all, he waited for us patiently while playing his ukulele! Only word of warning is to be careful what you wear on the tour: go for something you can easily clean and don't mind getting a bit muddy. We had no problems, but just to let you know that when the vehicles comes off the unpaved road and onto a paved road once again, all the pebbles, rocks and mud that may have gotten caught in the tyres will inevitably swing outwards and sometimes upwards.

Excellent tour company, and great off the beaten track places visited
Partner and I recently visited Bora Bora on a cruise ship, a tender port. At the wharf, we booked a 1.20pm tour at the tourist office for an afternoon 4x4 tour around the island. Safari style vehicle, seating four across one side and four the other. Frank being our driver, our first stop was to Pahonu Hill, definitely a 4x4 track, the views at the top were sensational. Next stop a visit to a pareo (sarong) artist's house to see his work and tasting tropical fruits. Lovely gardens, no hard sell here. Traveling further around the island, up another very narrow, steep and badly rutted four wheel drive track to see two of eight massive guns positioned throughout the island after Pearl Harbour was attacked in 1941. Cannot imagine how US personal managed to get the guns up here. Close to a four hour tour costing 7500 XPF each. If not out swimming with the sharks and stingrays, highly recommend this very good (and bumpy when hill climbing) around island 4x4 tour.

Your Crazy if you miss this adventure
It was fantastic. Not your every day off road adventure this is truly off-roading. The views were things you can’t see just going around the island. Franck “the LAST CANNIBAL” was the best host. Truly not a guide but and master of the island. You won’t want to miss this.

          Best Guide and Tour
We took this tour from our Windstar Cruise when we got to Bora Bora. We had Franck Tama as our guide. He was funny, well informed, and passionate about his island. We drove through the town of Vaitape and went up Pahonu Hill. Franck took us to see a canon and bunker from WWII and was able to explain everything to include pictures of history. The views were incredible. We stopped at Bloody Mary's and it was a truly enjoyable day with the best guide ever.

          4x4 Fun!
We met Moana for our 4x4 afternoon tour of the main island of Bora Bora. We knew right away it was going to be an amazing time! Moana told us about all the highlights of the island while making sure we 'enjoyed' the rocking and rolling of us in the jeep as we made our way up and down the mountainside!

          Fabulous tour.
My husband and I booked this tour through our hotel. We did the half day afternoon tour. As it turned out we were the only ones on the tour. Moana our guide, was fantastic! He took us around the island and explained the history and interesting facts about the various places. There were plenty of stops for photos. The tour is in a 4WD. There are 3 sections that are off road and hard to drive on, muddy in parts and a lot of fun! You would not be able to get to those places by yourself. We visited the remains of a 200yr old Marae, a lovely artists studio on the moutain, where she designs and paints Pareos, (sarongs) some can be worn, others for decoration. Bring your money with you to purchase one of the beautiful designs. Great views from here and lovely gardens to wonder through. We had a fruit tasting there, picked straight from the trees. Great to get up to the WWII canons and bunker and see them. The 'road' was bumpy and muddy and lots of fun. Great views too. We also went into Viatape where we stopped for some refreshments and souvenir shopping. From there it was off on another off road tour to get magnificent views of the lagoon and islands. It was a great way to see all of the island and learn about its history and culture.

          Average at best
Booked through the cruise line we were on, we were really looking forward to this 4WD trip but at the end was a little disappointed. OK, you do go off road to visit one of the sets of World War II cannons which were sited on the island by the Americans but were never used and a Pareo workshop where you can see local artists hand painting pareos (wrap around skirts) and canvases and there is stone marae ( ruin of an ancient temple) located nearby. It was then back onto tarmac for a scenic drive where you do get good views of the Bora Bora lagoon and Mount Otemanu but basically there would have been cheaper ways of doing the scenic bit - i.e.hire a car and drop the off road bit which was not really worth doing. Basically, it was an expensive mistake.

This was a really fun day. The view from the top was spectacular ! Moana was great. He had lots to share about the island and the beautiful people of Bora Bora. The artist home and land were a lovely pit stop. Such a love story with the husband and wife hand painted pareo's, so happy to be able to support some local artists.
I had rented a car the day before and drove the whole island and couldn't access any of the roads we took up hill on this tour so I'd highly recommend taking this tour over renting a car. Enjoy !

Frank was a great tour guide, extremely friendly, and funny as well. We did the 4x4 tour where he took us all around the main island where we captured great views, some history, and an art gallery where we finished up and had some of the local fruits. He was very knowledgeable about the islands and the history and was very interesting to talk to as well. He was very entertaining and had the four of us smiling and laughing the entire time. Not to mention if you tour with him you get to ride in the ultimate off road vehicle - Land Rover Defenders!

This tour took us all the way around the island, picking us up right at the Vrbo we were staying at and dropping us back off after the complete circuit. Our guide, Tiba, was knowledgable, humorous, and just generally fun. He took us to see some of the best scenic views of our trip; this is where you'll get your "postcard pics" from.
If you're looking at this tour and wondering when to book it for, I would recommend early in your stay as, in addition to the great scenic views, it also provides a good introduction to different places on the island as you take the complete loop around and your guide points out the landmarks and points of interest.

If I could leave a dozen stars I would do so. We didn’t think anything could top sailing but this blew every single adventure we’ve ever been on, anywhere in the world, out of the park. It was our jeep guide Cy who really made this so phenomenal. He was loaded with island knowledge and so genuinely excited to share it with us. He really showed us so many aspects of the island that you couldn’t find on your own. We both felt like we spent the day with our best friend and were genuinely sad to leave Cy at the boat launch. We returned to the mainland several days later on our own and Cy drove by us and you would’ve thought we saw a celebrity we were so overjoyed to just see his face. Everyone here on the island is great but Cy, he’s in a league of his own. I hope the jeep tour rewards him handsomely for the experiences he is providing to travelers. We discussed his dreams to visit US and loved him so much we offered for him to stay with us. If you are in Bora Bora this is an absolute must do excursion. WW2 cannons and bunkers, unbelievable views you wouldn’t experience otherwise, local folklore, local homes and fruits and the best damn tour guide in all of the world. Ty ty to the company and Cy for giving us this wonderful experience

Every time we visit an island, we always do an island tour. This 4WD tour did not disappoint. Our guide Teva knows how to handle the jeep despite the hair raising roads. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the island and its people. The highlights of our tour included the breathtaking viewpoints and the farm at the end of the tour. Teva asked the owner if we can pick the guavas and even picked some chili peppers for me. Not to be missed!

        So fun
road was too bumpy but fun you can see whole the island from the top with a amazing view.
we visited goat farm and fed them with banana leaves
and also visited artistic handmade panting on cotton and served with fruits.
I think It can improve if they was a visit from vanila farm

I think everyone on the island knows Cyril. He was constantly receiving waves from everywhere 😂

The tour was excellent and I don’t think any other vehicle could have managed the very steep off road inclines better than the old 4x4 Land Rover

Cyril was full of information about the island and it’s people.

The tour is highly recommended and if I’m right it’s the only tour that takes you to see the remaining WW2 gun that was actually built in 1906!

Thank you Cyril for a very enjoyable afternoon

Great way to see the island! Wow, it's well worth it. Frank was incredible! He knew so much about the island and really took the time to talk to us and explain the history of a lot of sites we saw. He was a great driver too. I rock crawl with my Jeep Wrangler on 35" tires and a lift, and this guy is a well skilled driver with his Land Rover. Trust me when I tell you, you will go places NO ONE else will go unless they do the ATV tour or our on a guided hike.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our Jeep safari tour with Cyril (“Cy”). Cy was kind, generous, and extremely knowledgeable about his home. On top of taking in amazing views around Bora Bora, Cy graciously taught us about its history and told us many other fun facts. Getting back to the views - they were absolutely spectacular. Cy knows exactly where to go to take in the most breathtaking views of Bora Bora. We also stopped by an art studio, which, in addition to having great views, is the home of talented local artists who produce beautiful artwork. This Jeep safari tour is an absolute must for those who want to see and learn more about the beauty of Bora Bora. Thanks again to Cy for his friendliness and welcoming spirit - we had a great time!

Great island tour & views! It was a highlight of our trip. Our favorite stop was at Masson art studio -a beautifully maintained property with friendly people who work hard and have a lot of creative skills. They also provided a delicious spread of fruit. I purchased a painting by the owners daughter (you can see her on FB @ Kiruna Masson Art and a painted fabric courtesy of her father. Our guide Moana was fluent in English, informative and kind.
