Ariel was the perfect guide to Jewish Buenos Aires. He is a student writing a dissertation on Jewish immigration to Argentina after the Holocaust. He grew up in the Once neighborhood, and his parents still live there. He showed us the synagogues, the yeshivas, and the kosher pizza restaurant. He also showed us the sites where terrorists bombed the AMIA and the Israeli embassy. Ariel is knowledgeable about the Jewish communities in Argentina, and he answered all of our questions. The tour was private--just my wife and me.

I arranged this tour which I posted on cruise-critic, so we 5 couples. We had a very comfortable minibus which more than accommodated us. Gabriel our guide was punctual & made our tour very interesting. In addition to the Jewish sights he gave us a very thorough city tour.
He was able to get permission to photograph the memorial wall of the victims of the bombing.
The tour was very successful & Gabriel was an excellent guide.

This tour was excellent. We visited several areas that have had and currently have Jewish history and influence. Our guide Matias was very kind, knowledgeable and fun. He really knows a lot about Argentinian history and culture. Great transportation took us around several stops. Highly recommended!

My wife and I took this Jewish tour of Buenos Aires with Ilan and his driver. Our guide was very personable, thorough and knowledgeable - we were very pleased.
There is a deep Jewish history in Buenos Aires. This tour provides an excellent window into the past and present day Jewish experience in this remarkable city.
We were delighted with the mix of driving and walking. When we asked for a short coffee break, Ilan took us to a storied restaurant/cafe sharing his personal connections with the locale.
Highly recommended.

We were very pleased with our tour with Mr. Yedid. He was a very nice Jewish history studies professor and knowledgeable about BA Jewish history. We walked the Once District and went to all the important sites. We highly recommend BA TOUR GUIDE.

There were 8 of us on the private city and Jewish tour. Ilan our guide gave us a wonderful tour of the highlites of BA as well as the Jewish history of the area. He was well versed in both and made the time pass too quickly

Ariela was very kind and informative. She and the driver (Joe) arrived punctually and the tour went to all the places on the tour list in good time. We were dropped off, by arrangement, at the Anne Frank Memorial in the Puerto Madero district. The tour provided lots of interesting sights and we gained a nice understanding of the breadth and depth of the Jewish community in Argentina. We could appreciate the deep impact on the Jewish community of the two major attacks at the Israeli Embassy and at AMIA. Thank you for providing the opportunity for this glimpse of Jewish life an another continent in the Southern Hemisphere (we are from Australia).

Our tour of Jewish Buenos Aires with Ariela was one of the highlights of our visit to Buenos Aires. The tour she took us on was very informative and interesting; she answered all our questions thoughtfully; and she is a very friendly, lovely person to spend time with. The car was spotless, and the driver was excellent, too. We highly recommend this tour.

Matias was very knowledgeable and pleasant and his English was excellent. He gave us a comprehensive and enjoyable tour of major Jewish sites in BA including Once (the Jewish quarter), the bombing site of the Jewish center, the LIbertad synagogue and the Holocaust memorial. He also took us to a few nonJewish sites we had not visited and provided a lot of historical background both about the Jewish community and about the history of BA. Highly recommended!!
