Excellent guide to an interesting part of Buenos Aires
We love taking walking tours and this is one of the best ones we've done! Nahuel was an engaging, informed guide, full of information and ready to answer any question we had. We got a good understanding of the La Boca neighborhood and its people, history, character. We for sure recommend this tour & Nahuel!

      Memorable June afternoon walking tour
A memorable walking tour with Martín. Personable, entertaining and well informed tour guide of major interest points of the city. A broad perspective of history, architecture and social evolution of Buenos Aires and Argentina as a whole given by Martín leads the tourist to have a better understanding of the cultural and social background of contemporary Argentina. His recommendations of additional points of interest, restaurants and entertainment are beyond expectations. A highly recommended walking tour. If possible make sure Martín is your guide: 5 out of 5.

We had a great experience on the Recoleta tour with Vito. He was entertaining, informative, and personable. We learned a lot about the city that we hadn't learned exploring on our own. I highly recommend taking a tour.

Mariana, an extraordinary and savvy guide
We booked 2 tours: Recoleta and la boca. We ran into Mariana twice. Great English pronunciation. She had interesting facts of the places we visited and walk. Both meetings on time, it took the time as expected and it really brought the places we visit to the historic context and what happened during past times. Absolutely recommended working with this company

Artistic place with lots of lively, informative stories
It was a super interesting walk through the whole area. Our guide Vito added even more color to the artistic surroundings by telling all his lively, first hand stories from the area with a lot of enthusiasm and passion for the place!

      A great experience
We had a great time and our tour guide, Nahuela taught us a tremendous amount of information about both Buenos Aires and Argentina. Would happily take a tour with him again for other sections of the city.

What an experience! Victoria brought history to life with fascinating details about the cemetery’s history and occupants. We learned about the city’s and country’s growth, politics and economics, plus many urban legends about people buried in the jam-packed lanes of mausoleums. Don’t miss this stop on a Buenos Aires itinerary and if you can land on Victoria’s English tour, start thinking of questions now because she has all the info and presents it very well.

I went to see the Recoleta cemetery, a tour organised by Free walks B. A. Our guide Victoria was outstanding, profesional, eloquent, friendly, interesting, well-read, funny... and she answered all the questions. I recommend to everyone who comes to Buenos Aires to definitely take a tour with Victoria from free walks, and also to take a hop-on hop-off bus to see the architecture of this amazing and unique city.

It is a very interesting place to visit, with different architectural styles, over the span of multiple decades. The only downside of the tour was the multitude of people on different tours. While our tour guide was professional enough to do the explanations of the graves to be presented in a more open area, then bring us to the site, not all guides did the same. This created some traffic and waiting in some areas.

We enjoyed an exceptional tour with Victoria in the Recoleta cemetery in Buenos Aires yesterday. She weaved fascinating stories about some of the people buried there and took time to answer questions and find shady spots. She spoke superb english and her overall performance ( which it was ) was outstanding. Thanks again.

This tour alone with Victoria as a guide is worth visiting Buenos Aires! Victoria is a walking history book as she engages everyone in the group with fascinating stories about the cemetery, the neighborhood, Buenos Aires society, the politics, the urban legends and more. She clearly loves what she does and is passionate about sharing the fascinating history and stories.

Victoria our guide was very informative, she weaved our way through the cemetery with delightful and entertaining stories of the history and people interned. Very hot day and Victoria kept track of the group and ensured when telling tales we would be in the shade. Would highly recommend. Note: you must purchase entrance to the cemetery separately so arrive a ten mins early to do so.

Victoria was a star and led our group with style. She combined facts about history and architecture with urban legends, keeping us engaged and laughing. The two hours flew by, and, also, her English is flawless and nuanced. We felt lucky to see the cemetery through her eyes.

We arrived in Buenos Aires yesterday and have done three tours with this company in two days. Tomorrow we’ll do the La Boca tour. I guess you could say we like them!

The groups are larger than usual, apparently, because they are just ramping back up to full staff after COVID. Even with larger groups, the guides do a great job. They are knowlegable, enthusiastic, friendly and entertaining. They wear portable amplifiers, so are easily heard.

We’ve done the City Center, Recoleta & Retiro, and Recoleta Cemetery tours. Recommend all of them. Saw many of the same people on the tours, so many did multiple tours. Highly recommend this tour company.

The tour is absolutely worth the time (and the money). Our guide (sorry forgot his name, but he is a founder of the company) spoke fluent English. He was funny, engaging and clearly extremely knowledgeable about the place and the history behind many of the people there. Touring Recoleta Cemetery without a tour is not doing it justice. As impressive as it is, the stories behind it make the experience so much better. The pace was good - not rushed and not too long. It did take longer than 2 hours, so plan accordingly. The group was all adults and the size of the group wasn't too bad. There were no more than 20 people, which is the limit I would put on the group size.

Very worth the money to use a guide! Besure to buy your ticket for entry to the cemetery before the tour as this is required in addition to paying for the tour to your guide at the end. Are guide spoke English well and wore a small amplifier around her neck, so she was easy to hear. The place is HUGE and you'll probably struggle to find Evita's crypt easily without a guide. And the stories and history she educated on about the cemetery and the history of some of the tombs was excellent. The tour was approx. 2.25 hours and there were hardly any crowds because it had been raining heavily prior. I understand the crowds can be big on nice days.
