I booked the ultimate experience for my daughter on her 21st birthday. The journey up to the park was going very badly with the drive going from just over 4 hours to an expected almost six whilst en route! In a panic we called the park to explain and they were amazing, reassuring us that we could still attend despite arriving well past the booked time. On arrival the greeting was warm and friendly, the keeper that accompanied us on the 3 chosen experiences was knowledge, friendly and helped make my daughters special day one to remember. Thank you all so much for providing such exceptional service and ensuring my daughter had a magical experience with animals she truly loves. The look on her face was worth the long journey there and back. Would recommend a visit to this very worthwhile park that provides much needed care for rescued exotic animals.

The Ark is a lovely little animal sanctuary sheltering rescue animals of all descriptions, run by caring, knowledgeable and enthusiastic keepers. We went for the skunk experience and were absolutely thrilled with it all. We were welcomed by their keeper who gave us an overview of the skunks, explained why they were there at the park (ex-pets...seriously, who decides to have a skunk as a pet?!) and prepared their food enrichment of mealworms in feeding devices that encouraged them to work for their food to ensure stimulation. The 3 skunks went about their feeding in a beautifully relaxed manner whilst we chatted with the keeper, and allowed us to interact with them, before taking one of them, Obi, for a walk around the park. We were encouraged to let him do his own thing, go wherever he felt he wanted to go and investigate whatever he wanted. He appeared 100% relaxed and unphased throughout with us. The care and attention they were shown by the keepers was heart-warming and we came away with the feeling that all these animals are now in a place where they can get the attention and rehabilitation they deserve. I can't recommend this experience highly enough. Please do go and visit the park and help fund their amazing work for the welfare of these neglected animals.

Me and my daughter loved the experience. The keeper was knowledgable and helped to get us up close to the skunks without feeling like we were disturbing them. We learned a lot about them and the misconceptions around them and we couldn't believe how soft and fluffy they are! All of the animals in the park seem well cared for and the place has a warm, family-run feel. It was quite shocking to realise how many exotic animals are being neglected in the UK and it's good to know places like this are helping to care for them. We had a great day and won't hesitate to come back again.

We have been many times, and it is a lovely animal sanctuary. Sometimes you do not see all the animals, but if you wait a little while they sometimes can be seen It is quite small zoo but the animals are well looked after, and appear to be happy and health. My only negative is that the café is very disappointing now, the quality of the food is disappointing, and is very expense for what you get. We have now started taking picnics, as the last meal we had was nearly £30 for cake and sandwiches,(for 2 people) with a cup of tea each. I realise the cost of living as gone up, but this seems very high, you don't even get a little salad with it unless you pay extra. But the zoo side of things I would defiantly recommend

A small family run wildlife park well worth a visit. My husband and I had a silver fox experience, we got to feed them and also stroke one of them. The staff were friendly and knowledgable and the animals are all in excellent condition with lots of room to roam and keep to themselves if they want to. A lot are rescues who have been successfully rehabilitated. There is also a Jurasic Park with mechanised dinosaur figures and also a play park for smaller children We spent just over four hours there and would certainly visit again

What a wonderful place. I did the meercat experience with my son and it was just the best! We havent stopped talking about it since. The staff were lovely, knowledgable and very helpful and clesrly care lots about tge animals.

I stumbled across this park online, as my son wanted to see animals. When we got to the place, I wasn’t sure whether we was in someone front garden/drive at first, but once I saw the cars parked I felt reassured. Once we got in, there was a dinosaur trail which I thought was a fun way to get the kids involved following a little toy at the end. My son loved every minute of it of being here, he loved seeing the meerkats, crocodiles and foxes. The park was full of fascinating creatures. We’ll definitely be visiting again soon. It was definitely worth the visit, my son left with a massive smile. Family friendly, especially for younger ones.

My son and I did the mini keeper experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. We got really close to the animals, got to stroke some and got so much information about them. Chloe was brilliant with my son and so informative. It was brilliant value too.

Meerkat encounter. Our visit exceeded expectations. 30 minutes of feeding and stroking a small group of delightful meerkats facilitated by Sam who was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. Perfect job. Happy we made the visit to support such a worthwhile venture.

What an amazing experience & a lovely day! We booked the ultimate encounter for my birthday & were able to get up close to & feed artic foxes, wild cats & red foxes! We even got to fuss the red foxes, which was a once in a lifetime experience! Our keeper was extremely knowledgeable & fantastic throughout the encounter. The park itself is a lovely place full of rescued animals and a great day out for anybody, and especially great for children. Would 100% recommend & will definitely be booking again for the future!

Did the meerkat meet and greet which was brilliant. The keeper was very knowledgeable and freindly we really enjoyed it. 😉

My wife and I did the Meerkat encounter. It was a wonderful experience. We spent the rest of the day looking at the rest of the animals and had lunch in the restaurant. Over all we a great time, the food was good and the staff were lovely. Most of the animals have been rescued which makes supporting them very worthwhile. Would highly recommend a visit.

We really enjoyed our time here, we were warmly welcomed at the front desk, where they explained what would happen. Luckily the weather held out for us as we walked around seeing all the animals, it was heartbreaking reading some of the stories of where the animals came from. After lunch we continued walking round until the allotted time we went with one of the keepers to collect mealworms, then were taken to the pen to meet the foxes, feeding them mealworms out of a bowl, and a few from the palms of our hands. It was an amazing thing to be allowed to do, both foxes we met are ex pets so have become accustomed to humans.

What fantastic work staff do caring for the animals. Our guide was really is passionate and hard working looking after the animals and shows so much love and compassion to the animals she looks after.Also she was very knowledgeable about the animals in her care.i would recommend visiting here to help fund the work and up keep of the animals especially if it is in your local area. We will visit again as it was a wonderful experience being up close to the Dexter and Lana the foxes ❤️ 💙. Small menu but choice to cater for everyone and good quality food .
