Falling in love with Algonquin Park
From the start the experience with Algonquin Nature Adventures was exactly what we needed. The booking process was really easy with great communication from Kristina and full information provided so we knew what to expect, what to take with us, etc. The paddle to our camp was approx 3 hours including a short portage and it was a reasonably leisurely paddle where we could get used to the canoe. All of us had minimal paddling experience and none of us had any aches despite paddling for roughly the same amount each day of our trip. The meals were filling and we never went short of food. Baz was amazing. He's friendly and couldn't have done anything to make the trip more enjoyable, He knows the lakes like the back of his hand and where to go to try to see the wildlife. He made sure we had a wonderful time - you can join in as much as you like and you get out of the trip what you put in. We went swimming in the lake when we weren't paddling but you could also spend time just chilling if that was what you wanted. The sunrise paddle was absolutely magical. Overall we had an incredible few days and have raved about the trip to everyone we know. We were gutted to just miss out on a moose sighting despite trying on a number of times - maybe next time Baz.

The Canadian Camping Experience of a Lifetime
My sister and I spent 4 days/3 nights with Baz and it was an unforgettable experience we will talk about for years to come. Kristina was extremely helpful in planning our trip and responded to every question in depth. Baz and Kristina have thought of everything ! All you need is yourself, some suitable clothes and an appetite for adventure. We had delicious meals every day, everything from steak cooked on an open fire to cinnamon rolls in the morning. Within hours Baz you feel like you are on a camping trip with close friends. Algonquin National Park is a magical place and exploring it with a knowledgeable guide like Baz makes it even more memorable. We were also very fortunate to see moose each day, which was a huge bucket list item for us. Baz has spent years perfecting his trips to make them absolutely perfect - we couldn't find a single fault in this experience. I will definitely be doing this trip again next time I visit Canada and I would recommend it to absolutely everyone of all ages looking for an authentic Canadian Camping Experience. Thanks so much again Baz and Kristina !!!

Fearful of water on my 1st canoe trip with friends, but ended up thoroughly enjoying the exp, creating lasting memories
Hi Baz and Kristina, I am writing this on behalf of my team (the “3 Indian boys” 😊). We wanted to express our heartfelt thanks for the incredible adventure tour you organized. It was an unforgettable experience, and we appreciate all the hard work and dedication that went into making it such a fantastic experience. This is one-of-a-kind adventure tour that anyone would enjoy, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip and will plan next year again with a few more folks from my team. Cheers!!

      Amazing family experience
The four days were an amazing experience for us with 2 Boys (15&11). We were no kayaking experts, but our guide Baz introduced us to everything. We had so much fun and enjoyed excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The tents are spacious and the campsite is a perfect location close to hotspots for swimming, Moose seeking and sunrise tours. We enjoyed the four days with an extra day compared to the standard offer, so that we could see more and take our time.

      Great experience
We had a great trip! Baz seemed highly skilled and very well prepared which made the trip easy and all save for us even though we did not have much camping experience so far. He was really chatty and funny. The outdoor sauna was a super highlight, but the whole trip was just awesome.

      Amazing Backcountry Camping Experience
The trip was amazing. I went with my mom and her friends. We went at the end of July. We saw snapping turtles, a beaver, herons, and multiple loons and even their nest. The food was great and much better than we expected. Our guide, Baz was incredible and explained a lot of stuff about the wildlife there. We will definitely come back again.

      Unbelievable Experience
We have just returned from a 4 day trip with Baz. We are a family of four from Scotland and all had the most unbelievable experience. Some of the highlights of the trip were feeding the snapping turtles at the campsite, seeing moose with their babies, visiting a beaver dam, cliff jumping into the beautiful warm water of the lake, canoeing at sunset, sunrise and seeing the stars……the list goes on. The trip is very well organised and Baz is a wonderful guide and very friendly with so much knowledge of the park and amazing stories to tell. We ate so well and the food was so tasty and fresh with a varied menu and well cooked and prepared by Baz. We have made memories that will last a lifetime. If you are thinking of a trip to Algonquin then I can’t recommend Algonquin Nature Adventures highly enough

      Amazing trip for reading week
My friend and I had a very nice time in Algonquin Park during our reading week! The guide was very, very friendly and taught us a lot about canoeing and Canadian wildlife. We went to see beaver dams, the sunrise, sunset, and the moon rise. On the third day, we also saw a beautiful male moose with antlers right next to our campsite. We also fed gray jays and chipmunks right from our hands and the food we had every day was really incredible. The only thing you should really know is that there is no real toilet, shower, electricity, and mobile service at the campsite.

      Most amazing trip near Toronto
It was my best camping ever. Besides the breathtaking nature the guide teached me a lot and it was a funny and very pleasant atmosphere. Even though it is wild there this camping was very professional, I felt safe and the food was better than at home! I am so happy to have done this. There are many different animals and the night sky, sunrise and sunset is amazing to see at this place. If I come to Toronto again I would 100 percent do it again and I would recommend it to everyone. I've learned a lot and the nature took away all stress and negative things.

A trip you will never forget!
This Camping and Canoeing Tour in Algonquin park was one of the best experiences I have ever made! I saw a mother moose with two kids, fed snapping turtles, cooked over an open fire, jumped off cliffs, chopped wood, watched stars from a canoe and much more. The tour guide is excellent! He gives everyone a chance to have the best experience imaginable. I always felt comfortable and am very grateful for the things I was able to experience there! I would do exactly this camping tour again at any time and can therefore highly recommend it!

      Great trip
The trip was one of the best things I ever did in my life! We even saw 4 moose and 2 beavers! My personal highlight was to canoe underneath the beautiful night sky without lots of light pollution - unbelievable! Moreover, the guide was very experienced and gave us plenty additional information about the nature.

      An unforgettable experience for EVERYONE!
The perfect weather, the quiet hours in a totally different world, the super varied and delicous food, as well as the moose and snapping turtles led to an absolutely unforgettable experience in the wilderness of Canada. The highlight was the self-build sauna! However, all this does not go without a good organization. A big THANK YOU to the guide who put all his effort and experience into this tour. It was awesome!

      Canoe in algonquin
Trip on algonquin Park was realy amazing. À Nice place to canoë. The guide was friendly, he give us a good spot to sleep un thé Park with rules guaranteeing our safety. We had a lot of food, (we got what we paid for). even with the rain it was good to live, ant the rain gave us a nice show on the lake. We were also able to see the stars visible like nowhere else. Finally, the guide prepared a homemade sauna for us, it was a very pleasant experience. and finally an opportunity to jump several meters high into the lake on the way back.

Great experience. This is my second time having it with Baz. Totally recommend it to get to know the Canadian nature, beautiful landscapes, moose, beavers, looneys, turtles and to experience canoeing. Also to unplugged yourself from the city life. If you travel to Toronto or nearby, you must live this unique experience.

We had a great and very exiting time in the Algonquin Park: thanks to the parks nature, the weather and especially to the guides, who organized everything (route, camping, lots of activities, the meals, ...) marvellous. We took many unforgettable memories home. The Highlights for the kid were the cliff jumping place and for us the sauna. But atop, we will not forget the turtles and the moos.

Thank You very much, Thomas. Our trip was one of my favorites. Your family was wonderful and we were blessed with perfect weather. Kids usually like the cliff jumping place on a hot summer day the most and for adults, it's usually the sauna and finding wildlife. we had everything. Thank you for all your hard work and your wonderful camping spirit. Our conversations by the campfire or seeing the stars at night won't be forgotten. Your children were an absolute pleasure to meet and they looked like naturals out in the backcountry wilderness of Algonquin Park. Thank you so much. Baz - Lead Guide

It was a great tour through Algonquin Provincial Park. Canoeing and sitting next to the fire in the evening were fun, the group was great and our guide and our camp host were really nice! It was a funny trip, we lived close to the nature and it was an experience for life. I would highly recommend to go on this tour!

Thank you so much. I had a great time too. Sitting around the campfire having interesting conversations and paddling after dawn to see the foggy sunrise were amazing. The sauna was my favorite part and it wouldn't have been possible without all your hard work. The weather was good too. Thank you for everything and I hope that you can go wilderness camping in Canada in the future. Take care :) Baz - Lead Guide

Amazing camping experience in a beautiful parc. The guide is very knowledgeable and attentive. The canoeing was great, we were lucky with the weather. We ate very well, cheers to the camping team. We chopped wood in the forest, a first time for us😁.

"Cherry on the sunday", the makeshift sauna, so cool!
Thank you Baz & Jesus for sharing this with us.

Thank you so much. I also had a great time on our adventure. The sauna was over 90 C inside and the dip in the lake after was only because of everyone's help. I never would have thought it was your first time camping and cutting wood ... you were like a pro out there. Hope to see you again ... in a canoe :) Baz - Lead Guide

Thank you so much Haruka. I remember you on the trip very well. I remember waiting with you in the canoe to see the beavers at their lodge. Your spirit lifted the whole camping trip. It was your first time in the wilderness but you were always so cheerful and helpful. Thank you for everything and I hope to see you when I visit Japan :)

I highly recommend this adventure. I am Doctor from south America and enjoy outdoor activities. Of all the places I have visited, Algonquin is my favourite. I have been canoeing and camping with this company two times. The natural park is impressive, with plenty of beautiful landscapes and adventures. The flora, animals, lakes, and rivers are unique. The guides are very well trained and know the area well and how to find specific spots to see moose, turtles, bluejays, beavers, and fish. The peace you can feel during the trip is difficult to describe. You spend a lot of energy during the day and the afternoon, and at night you sleep in the middle of a peaceful place. I recommend some Incredibles things to do during the trip, like the jumping place, the sauna, the rapids, the rivers, and walking through the forest. Finally, the food is something you enjoy with barbecues and high-quality food. If you are new or a camping expert, you will enjoy it. Do not hesitate to take this trip. It pays off in satisfaction.
