- miriamdF9693VS0 contributionsPerfect camping ⭐️I did the trip a few years ago in October. It was great, the weather was perfect and we went kayaking during the trip. It's a really nice experience, and if you live being in nature this camp it's perfect for you.Written November 16, 2024
- Voyage066738505080 contributionsThe best way to experience Algonquin ParkI can't imagine that there's a better way to explore Algonquin Park. Baz was a very hospitable and absolute experienced guide. I had zero issues with the bookings and the overall process. The trip really created memories for a lifetime!Written October 18, 2024
- A5976IJericaf0 contributionsBeautifully peacefulOverall a wonderful experience with my 14 year old son. It was our first time camping. We were overwhelmed by the canoe trip to our campsite on arrival day, and back our final day. The canoeing our 2nd day was much easier, allowing us time to enjoy the paddle, and nature. Wish we would have done some exploring/sight seeing on land, not only by canoe. Food was amazing! Definitely recommend!Written September 18, 2024
- coniox0 contributionsA weekend into the natureMy experience to Algonquin Park was wonderful and unique. I was in Canada for a work experience and I choose to spend a weekend into the nature. Algonquin Nature Adventures was the perfect choice: I had the chance to fulfill into the nature of this beautiful park and to enjoy the company of a great group. Baz is amazing and he makes you enjoy every aspect of the experience! I really recommend them! The canoeing is funny, food is very good and sleeping is super comfy! Baz and Kristina really makes your trip enjoyable, from the beginning with an efficient communication to the camping setup and sharing stories and experiences from the park they know very well.Written September 10, 2024
- 585neys0 contributionsMemorable experienceI enjoyed the trip. The food was really good. Kristina is a good cook. The food had good variety. it was my first time experience of outdoor Camping and I was less tensed since the set up, food, water was already taken care of. The pick up and drop went smooth. Baz is a really experienced camper and he single handedly guided us through the entire process. He patiently answered all of the questions we had. He kept the whole trip on time . We saw the sunset and the clear night sky . We saw blue Heron, loon. I had a really good time in the group. I would hope to do this tour again next year..Written September 3, 2024

- franneschepers0 contributionsBest experience we had in Canada! We had the most amazing time with Baz in Algonquin! Such an passionate and enthousiastic guide, a great camping spot (with great sleeping tents) with the best views over the lake, two warm meals a day (with great veggie options), … The sunrise and sunset kayak, sauna, campfires with marshmallows at night, it was all awesome! We saw a lot of different animals, including 2 moose during the sunrise paddle, beavers, snapping turtels, a snake and a loon. Best experience we had in Canada, would definitely recommend!Written August 24, 2023

- Melissacapuano0 contributionsAwesomeIt was Amazing, I really enjoyed the adventure. For me I’m a young person and really like to travel and do different things, it was awesome and challenging. It’s a real camp and I love it, the views, the animals, how awesome it’s the canoe (in my country we don’t usually see it in a river), how to sleep in a tent, the weather, the peace at there, wow everything I love it:)Written July 12, 2023
- ConValdesKury0 contributionsConnie ValdesGreat experience. This is my second time having it with Baz. Totally recommend it to get to know the Canadian nature, beautiful landscapes, moose, beavers, looneys, turtles and to experience canoeing. Also to unplugged yourself from the city life. If you travel to Toronto or nearby, you must live this unique experience.Written July 6, 2023
- alopezr00 contributionsAlgonquin camping is a fantastic adventure.I highly recommend this adventure. I am Doctor from south America and enjoy outdoor activities. Of all the places I have visited, Algonquin is my favourite. I have been canoeing and camping with this company two times. The natural park is impressive, with plenty of beautiful landscapes and adventures. The flora, animals, lakes, and rivers are unique. The guides are very well trained and know the area well and how to find specific spots to see moose, turtles, bluejays, beavers, and fish. The peace you can feel during the trip is difficult to describe. You spend a lot of energy during the day and the afternoon, and at night you sleep in the middle of a peaceful place. I recommend some Incredibles things to do during the trip, like the jumping place, the sauna, the rapids, the rivers, and walking through the forest. Finally, the food is something you enjoy with barbecues and high-quality food. If you are new or a camping expert, you will enjoy it. Do not hesitate to take this trip. It pays off in satisfaction.Written January 30, 2023
- colmm6330 contributionsFantastic Trip!Unbelievable trip! The natural sauna and dip in the lake is a great experience and the food is ten times better than expected too! Baz is a legend too and really easy to get on with, I highly recommend this trip. You won't regret it!Written October 9, 2022
- SOFIANE M0 contributionsCouple canoë trip in Algonquin parcAmazing camping experience in a beautiful parc. The guide is very knowledgeable and attentive. The canoeing was great, we were lucky with the weather. We ate very well, cheers to the camping team. We chopped wood in the forest, a first time for us😁. "Cherry on the sunday", the makeshift sauna, so cool! Thank you Baz & Jesus for sharing this with us.Written September 24, 2022
- 35harukas0 contributionsMy greatest experiences and treasuresIt was my first camping trip. It's a treasure memory for my life. At the camp, I had a great time canoeing, beaver houses, swim, cookingand more…with teacher and friends. I was very moved. I was happy to have such a wonderful encounter. I can't forget everything I've experienced in the camp. I'm really grateful to the teachers.Written September 19, 2022
- Fazimundo0 contributionsAn incredible experience I'll never forgetMy partner and I visited Canada (from the UK) for the first time in August 2022, and Algonquin was highly recommended by friends. We weren't so keen on adventuring into Ontario's outback on our own, which is how we came across Algonquin Nature Adventures. We're both so glad we found them. We spent four days deep in the heart of the wilderness, hours away from civilization and phone signal, and it was without doubt the highlight of our entire trip. Baz and Jesus were fantastic hosts, doing their utmost to make sure we had the best possible experience. Our days were jam-packed with activities, including plenty of canoeing, cutting wood for the fire, and making our very own sauna. We were lucky enough to spot plenty of wildlife - and even came face to face with a moose! Everything is prepared for you when you arrive at the campsite (tents, inflatable mattresses, sleeping bags etc), and the guys will whip up some seriously tasty meals throughout each day. It's almost like being in a hotel, except you're in a tent, in a forest, hundreds of kilometers from the nearest hotel. For anyone who loves the outdoors and wants to enjoy it in the care of genuine enthusiasts, I couldn't recommend Algonquin Nature Adventures more. Thank you so much, Baz and Jesus! We'd love to come back again.Written September 15, 2022

We have just returned from a 4 day trip with Baz. We are a family of four from Scotland and all had the most unbelievable experience. Some of the highlights of the trip were feeding the snapping turtles at the campsite, seeing moose with their babies, visiting a beaver dam, cliff jumping into the beautiful warm water of the lake, canoeing at sunset, sunrise and seeing the stars……the list goes on. The trip is very well organised and Baz is a wonderful guide and very friendly with so much knowledge of the park and amazing stories to tell. We ate so well and the food was so tasty and fresh with a varied menu and well cooked and prepared by Baz. We have made memories that will last a lifetime. If you are thinking of a trip to Algonquin then I can’t recommend Algonquin Nature Adventures highly enough

It was my best camping ever. Besides the breathtaking nature the guide teached me a lot and it was a funny and very pleasant atmosphere. Even though it is wild there this camping was very professional, I felt safe and the food was better than at home! I am so happy to have done this. There are many different animals and the night sky, sunrise and sunset is amazing to see at this place. If I come to Toronto again I would 100 percent do it again and I would recommend it to everyone. I've learned a lot and the nature took away all stress and negative things.

Thank You so much :) We paddled about 50 km together and it was so much fun. Paddling at dawn in the fog to see the sunrise was so much fun. The sauna was so relaxing. I had a wonderful 4-days and you are the perfect camping partner. Thank you for everything :) Baz - Lead Guide

This Camping and Canoeing Tour in Algonquin park was one of the best experiences I have ever made! I saw a mother moose with two kids, fed snapping turtles, cooked over an open fire, jumped off cliffs, chopped wood, watched stars from a canoe and much more. The tour guide is excellent! He gives everyone a chance to have the best experience imaginable. I always felt comfortable and am very grateful for the things I was able to experience there! I would do exactly this camping tour again at any time and can therefore highly recommend it!

Thank Yo very much. Our trip was one of my favorites. My favorite part was paddling with you and suddenly discovering a female moose with her baby. It was just the two of us and I'll remember that forever. I also loved the sauna ... it must have been 90 C inside and the dip in the lake after was the cherry on top. Thank you for your hard work and I would be happy to go camping with you anywhere, any time for any length. You have the perfect Algonquin camping spirit and I hope to one day go paddling with you again :) Baz - Lead Guide

From the start the experience with Algonquin Nature Adventures was exactly what we needed. The booking process was really easy with great communication from Kristina and full information provided so we knew what to expect, what to take with us, etc.
The paddle to our camp was approx 3 hours including a short portage and it was a reasonably leisurely paddle where we could get used to the canoe. All of us had minimal paddling experience and none of us had any aches despite paddling for roughly the same amount each day of our trip.
The meals were filling and we never went short of food.
Baz was amazing. He's friendly and couldn't have done anything to make the trip more enjoyable, He knows the lakes like the back of his hand and where to go to try to see the wildlife. He made sure we had a wonderful time - you can join in as much as you like and you get out of the trip what you put in. We went swimming in the lake when we weren't paddling but you could also spend time just chilling if that was what you wanted. The sunrise paddle was absolutely magical.
Overall we had an incredible few days and have raved about the trip to everyone we know. We were gutted to just miss out on a moose sighting despite trying on a number of times - maybe next time Baz.

Thank you so much. I had a great time too. You and everyone else were so helpful and energetic. We all worked well as a team. October is my favorite time of the year because of the sunrises. Meeting you and everyone else makes my job not feel like work. June and July is a good time to see moose in the park ... hopefully next time .... but if you ever see a moose before you return to Algonquin, please send me a picture. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. :) Please keep in touch.

My friend and I had a very nice time in Algonquin Park during our reading week! The guide was very, very friendly and taught us a lot about canoeing and Canadian wildlife. We went to see beaver dams, the sunrise, sunset, and the moon rise. On the third day, we also saw a beautiful male moose with antlers right next to our campsite. We also fed gray jays and chipmunks right from our hands and the food we had every day was really incredible. The only thing you should really know is that there is no real toilet, shower, electricity, and mobile service at the campsite.

Hi, Thank you so much for your kind words. I will always remember our trip because we spent over 2 hours with an adult male moose only 100 m from our campsite. My heart was racing. I also loved our night-time paddle under the stars. The moon looked amazing. You guys were great. Baz

The four days were an amazing experience for us with 2 Boys (15&11). We were no kayaking experts, but our guide Baz introduced us to everything. We had so much fun and enjoyed excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The tents are spacious and the campsite is a perfect location close to hotspots for swimming, Moose seeking and sunrise tours. We enjoyed the four days with an extra day compared to the standard offer, so that we could see more and take our time.

Baz and Kristina were excellent both in communication and making us feel welcome and relaxed. Baz interacted well with our boys aged 13 and 15 and they loved helping him prepare the fire and cook food. The food was delicious and plentiful. The boys highlight was the cliff jumping. Mine was the chipmunks and snapping turtles near the camp which were interactive and delightful to watch. Saw beavers swimming. Mosquito were ok at this time of year and the weather was perfect. We were lucky to go at the same time as another European family who were lovely. Time went so fast and I would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful few days.

Trip on algonquin Park was realy amazing. À Nice place to canoë. The guide was friendly, he give us a good spot to sleep un thé Park with rules guaranteeing our safety. We had a lot of food, (we got what we paid for). even with the rain it was good to live, ant the rain gave us a nice show on the lake. We were also able to see the stars visible like nowhere else. Finally, the guide prepared a homemade sauna for us, it was a very pleasant experience. and finally an opportunity to jump several meters high into the lake on the way back.

Thank you very much. I had a great time too. Our group worked so well together. The stars at night were something special on our trip. The sauna was the hotter than usual ... probably around 90 C ... and swimming in the lake after was so relaxing. Thank you for teaching me a little French. You guys were great and you paddled the 40 km over the 4-days with ease. Thanks for making my job so easy and fun. Baz :) Lead Guide

The trip was amazing. I went with my mom and her friends. We went at the end of July. We saw snapping turtles, a beaver, herons, and multiple loons and even their nest. The food was great and much better than we expected. Our guide, Baz was incredible and explained a lot of stuff about the wildlife there. We will definitely come back again.

The perfect weather, the quiet hours in a totally different world, the super varied and delicous food, as well as the moose and snapping turtles led to an absolutely unforgettable experience in the wilderness of Canada. The highlight was the self-build sauna! However, all this does not go without a good organization. A big THANK YOU to the guide who put all his effort and experience into this tour. It was awesome!

Thank You very much. Our trip was so much fun. I was happy you got a chance to see moose in their natural habitat. Canoeing at night under the bright stars was one of my highlights. The arm of the Milky Way was so bright. The sauna was also so much fun. It was so much work preparing it abut well worth the effort. Thank for all your work helping to prepare the food. I hope to see you again in a canoe ... you were a natural :) Baz - Lead Guide

Two of us, both aged 72 like the description of your trip. Why is the age limit 70? We are both fit with no health issues. Also, is the food menu adaptable to a vegan?
