Meet your guide in Little Havana, and set out on foot through the historic neighborhood, which is at the heart of Cuban Miami’s social, cultural, and political scene. Stop at a series of family-owned destinations near Calle Ocho, tasting a mix of traditional and innovative dishes. The menu changes to keep the experience fresh, but favorite foods may include mamey and flan ice cream, plantain cups filled with chicken, picadillo empanadas, guava pastelito, Cuban coffee, guarapo juice, croquetas, dulce de leche churros and malanga frita—it’s like a taro root, but sweeter. As you walk, take in Little Havana cultural highlights as well, visiting artist studios, catching some Cuban rhythms, watching cigars being rolled, and learning about local spiritual beliefs and practices. Take advantage of the small-group atmosphere to ask questions about life in Little Havana, and get tips on where to eat, drink, and explore in Cuban Miami. Tour ends at the original departure point.

Great food and history in Miami Beach
Ria was an awesome guide! Super knowledgeable on the history of Miami Beach and the Art Deco area on Ocean Drive. She had a great energy and was able to provide information for everyone's questions. This food tour went to four restaurants, each with their own drink and food item. Definitely recommend if you're in the area for a few days and want to catch the culinary highlights.

      Pleasant tour
This was a great way to start our stay in Miami. Dany was a perfect guide. We really enjoyed hearing about the history of South Beach, its development and arquitecture. Loved all the food offerings, my favorite was the ceviche at Bolívar. There were 4 food stops total, the last being at a pastelería adjacent to restaurant #3. It was fun chatting with the other tourists on the tour.

Highly recommended for the cultural and historical insights - the food is good, not exceptional
The guide (Mirka) was really excellent and the trip was worth doing for her knowledge and insights into how Miami South Beach has evolved over many decades, especially in terms of architecture and trends. The food side was - in our opinion - more mixed. Some was good, some was average. You’ll have small plates at 5ish different restaurants/cafes which showcase different Latin American, or other, cuisines which have influenced Miami’s food scene. We’d definitely recommend the tour with Mirka, but in our experience you’re better thinking off of it as a cultural tour with food, rather than a foodie’s paradise.

      Great food, great guide!
Had a great time with Juan Carlos! He was so kind and knowledgeable. The food was great and the people were friendly! My friend and I ended up being quite late (Miami traffic!) but Juan Carlos checked in frequently so we could still meet up with the tour. He even took us back to the stop we missed! Thank you Juan Carlos for such a great tour!

My family (including 2 younger boys) thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Mirka was our guide and she was extremely knowledgeable about the local cuisine, history of the area, and tips for shopping. We spent over 3 hours with her walking up and own the main strip sampling a REAL mojito, cuban sandwich, cafe cubano, curros, sugar cane juice, ice cream, and other assorted treats. This was a great experience that I would recommend for anyone looking to appreciate great food and culture!

We are so happy that our Little Havana Food and Walking Tour was a successful family affair! Yes, Mirka does know every nook and cranny of the neighborhood and we are so happy that she was instrumental in providing a great afternoon. And you said it well-the mojito we serve is indeed the REAL deal! We look forward to your return to Miami very soon.

This is my second time attending the Little Havana Food and Walking Tour. I recommend it to all and anyone interested in experiencing the Cuban culture and "flavor" that enhances the city of Miami.
There is so much to see, hear and taste. On both occasions, the tour guides as well as the various small establishments are hospitable, warm and accommodating.

The tour is well planned and the guides are informative and pleasant. Overall, it was GREAT!

Our guide was Gina. Her knowledge of not only the cuisine but the Cuban culture and the history of the area and its relationship to the Bay of Pigs debacle was outstanding. She is a great communicator, has a high, exuberant energy level and engages all tour participants, leading to many questions and thus increased knowledge for all. To top it off, at the end of the tour when I realized my cell phone battery was dead and I was unable to call a Lyft to get back to the hotel, she willingly offered to call the vehicle and put it on her own account. (She called; I paid her). Can't expect better service than that. This tour is well worth the cost.

Ashley was a fantastic tour guide. She was patient and well informed regarding the culture, people, and food of Cuba. She was inclusive with all tour attendees, giving everyone in the tour a chance to get acquainted. This was an amazing and educational tour, the food and drink outstanding. I learned so much about Cuba and the people of Little Havana. I recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn and understand the plight of the Cuban people.

The Little Havana Food Tour has been a highlight of our trip to Miami! Karlee was very knowledgeable, outgoing, and the 2.5 hours we spent with her flew by. We enjoyed so much delicious food, my favorite was probably the empanadas or churros. Come hungry, because you will eat a lot of food! We also had the best mojito I've ever had during our tour. The tour size is perfect, and we had a lot of fun getting to know our fellow group members. We learned a lot about Cuba, the Cuban culture in Miami and would strongly recommend this tour to anyone!

To those worried about covid - masks were worn at all times drinking and eating wasn't happening.

This tour gets 5 stars from us. We have done other food tours at various places around the country and this was our best experience ever! Rather than going from restaurant to restaurant getting overstuffed on way too much food, we felt like we got a real taste of Little Havana. We saw cigars being rolled, sipped a mojito in a neat old Art Deco club with quite a history, and sampled empanadas and savory pastries in environments that were just as interesting as the food. Our guide, Robyn, obviously has a true love of the area and knew all sorts of history and fun facts! It was a super experience from start to finish. We highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I booked the Little Havana Food and walking tour in Miami. From the reservation process to the actual tour, everything was phenomenal. Our tour guide, Robyn, had such great high energy, she made the tour very personal and we felt comfortable with the other people in our group. She was very knowledgeable and gave the tour a personal touch by telling her own family stories. Each food stop was at an authentic Cuban eatery, made fresh and tasted amazing - my personal favorite was the Cubano sandwich! Although there was a ton to see, the walk itself was not very long distance, which was nice. When Robyn discovered it was my birthday, she arranged a nice little surprise cake at one of the resturants, which was a greatly appreciated! For our first food tour, this one set the bar high, we had a great time and definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for some kind of combined activity or packing alot into a short trip in Miami!

We appreciate being your very first food tour and we are thrilled that your expectations were met from our food offerings, to the stories, to being with such a fun group of fellow travelers. Please come back soon so I can spoil you some more with another hot and juicy Cubano sandwich!

My husband and I had a great time on this tour and highly recommend it. We are in our mid thirties and were visiting Miami for our first time on vacation. We were debating about whether to do a group tour or just explore on our own, and I’m really glad we ended up doing the tour because we got to see and try so many things that we would not have thought of on our own without spending lots of time doing extensive research. It was also great to not have to deal with a difference in opinion between the two of us as to where we should go but to just have someone telling us where to go. :)

If you have more time to spend, you could do the tour one day and then go back another day to spend more time at your favorite spots. Or you could come back in the evening of the same day to visit one of the restaurants or live music clubs. But for us it was the perfect amount of time. We went back to a shop after the tour ended to purchase an item we had seen on the tour.

We especially appreciated our guide Martica’s stories of growing up in the neighborhood and her insight into the culture and history of Cuba.

We were also grateful that they were able to accommodate vegetarians…the food we ate was all very delicious and filling. We ate fried plantain boats stuffed with seasoned peppers and onions (at a place where the meat eaters ate Cuban sandwiches), spinach and cheese empanadas (the others ate pork empanadas), freshly made churros, pan de yucca, and pastelitos de guava, and we drank mojitos, fresh pressed sugarcane juice, and Cuban coffee. And we got full sized portions of all the food—not just tiny bites to taste.

We definitely got our money’s worth and more and will be doing more cultural food tours in the future because of this experience!

We always book food tours on our travels so that we can get to know the culture through the locals and their cuisine. This was hands down one of the best tours we have ever taken. Karlee was one of the best, most knowledgeable tour guides we have experienced. Of course she should be, because her relatives were some of the first to establish Little Havana. Her energy, enthusiasm and love for the area and history was truly contagious. The food samples were delicious, varied and left us full. We found that we love Cuban cuisine! So much so, we had many of the items served to us multiple times after the tour during our trip. Thank you, thank you to this wonderful company and Karlee for a very enjoyable, delicious and history packed tour!!!

This tour with Ralph was amazing. He is an authentic Cuban American that lives in Little Havana. My favorite part of the tour was seeing people playing dominos and seeing the cigars being made. The mojotio was excellent too! The last stop was the icing on the cake to have ice cream, which is also Cuban. This tour was the real deal culturally, it’s amazing to see that their culture has remained living and thriving for so many years. If I could change anything, I would say make the tour a little shorter. It was amazing, but hard for some of us to be on our feet for so long. The food tour that I did in Seattle had much smaller portions of food, was half the time, half the price, but also still fantastic.

Thank you for such a kind review of our Little Havana Food and Cultural Tour in Miami. As you noticed the tour is Cuban through and through and in no small part, it was your guide Ralph, who provided such a rich experience for you and that makes us so happy! We are glad you noticed that the Cuban culture has indeed thrived for so many years and we will let you in on a secret- they love the Cuban ice cream as much as you do! Come back and see us again soon.
