About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- vanessamI5156WY0 contributionsGreat, loved it!We had a great time with our guide! We did an 1 1/2h tour with teens and they all loved it! Beautiful, interesting explanations, was really worth it!Written April 14, 2024
- 655silvinab0 contributionsOur expectations exceeded!!!I highly recommend this amazing tour. Our captain Ozzie was so kind and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot of interesting things from him. At one point, he even called out an alligator he knew for us to see it. The best about it is that we saw this animal in its natural environment, with no shows or exhibitions. Perfect choice to do the ride first thing in the morning. We gladly give 5 stars to this tour and our captain Ozzie! Thank you so much!Written August 27, 2023
- 658maltek0 contributionsPrivate Tour EvergladesVery educational trip to the raw Everglades on a private boat charter. We did the very early morning trip at 7 a.m. - brilliant sunrise tour. The meeting area is easily accessible by car from all directions. Details are sent upfront via E-Mail. Just make sure to arrive 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled trip, as you have to go a bit further inside. It was heavily raining, but that made it even more interesting. Capt. Ozzie was a brilliant host and guide. Various animals to be seen, but no feeding or other amusement. Met Lola, while nesting. Met some young gators as well.Written July 31, 2023
- rkhanna720 contributionsBest Everglades Tour- All About the Nature- No GimmicksSo much great stuff to write here. Did the hour and a half semi-private tour - i come down here to Miami area every February with friends from Chicago and always book these kinds of tours since so unique. Used a different company last two years- always had a good time there -but Everglades Nature Tour was a better overall experience so glad I decided to try something new. Captain Ozzie grew up riding airboats as a kid in the area- so knows everything about the area and the wildlife- this tours is so great since its all about the nature and no gimmicks. We saw alligators, turtle, beautiful birds -the 90 mins went by way too fast- highly recommend and when Captain Ozzie yells out "Bobby, Bobby," you may feel inclined to yell back "Cindy. . ." but when he does- what happens next you must experience yourself so i won't ruin it.Written February 26, 2023
- I2912WIkristines0 contributionsEntertaining airboat ride!My family from WY and I took a family vacation and wanted to see the Everglades so I booked this tour based on reviews - it did not disappoint! Captain Ozzie took us on a great ride all over the Everglades, was very educational and informative, and was also very entertaining! We loved this trip. My family had done other Everglades tours and they said this one surpassed those ten fold! Highly recommend.Written January 16, 2023
- 938vickir0 contributionsNO RESPONSEWe were supposed to go in 2020. They wouldn't refund our money so we were stuck with a credit. Now I've booked a trip from OH to FL and they will not respond to my emails. I tried to call and the mailbox is full.Written January 11, 2023
- gemray7870 contributionsGreat experienceWe are a family of 5 from the UK and loved our trip with Ozzie around the Everglades. He was very informative and took time to answer all our questions plus we saw some great wildlife (Gators big and small!) - worth the extra £ to not go on a big “tourist tour”!! Highly recommend.Written January 3, 2023
- Vel2019USA0 contributionsFun and educationalThe Everglades Airboat tour is entertaining and educational. A fun way to learn about the ecosystem. Surprised by the experience coming from the National Parks Services. The staff was friendly and engaging. The live show is fun for kids and adults alike. Kids learned about the crocodiles and alligators co-habiting in the Everglades and many exciting factors. Definitely worth the money.Written December 30, 2022
- flygrrrlhighgrrrl0 contributionsOzzie-some!This tour was so awesome. Captain Ozzie is a righteous dude and we got some quality time with his good friend, Bobby, the alligator. We also saw two baby alligators. If you haven't been in an airboat, you gotta do this tour! It is not like other tours in the area. It is more private and you will not find a more fun, knowledgeable, down to earth guide. Captain Ozzie knows this part of the Everglades like the back of his hand.Written December 23, 2022
- Q7742OQsharonl0 contributionsGreat Guide and TourWe did a private tour with Lou at the everglades Safari Park. First of all, the cost for a private tour was very reasonable. Second, our private tour captain was just wonderful. He did not just focus on finding gators; he showed us the local plant life including invasive species. He discussed the original Indigenous peoples of the area, something very important to two Indigenous people from Alaska. Lou was very well informed of the story of the everglades, the people, plants and animals. Lou also took the time to find us some very beautiful blooming flowers. Alligators were scarce that day and it was. extremely hot and humid - Somehow Lou found us some gators and he let us watch them for a good amount of time; something very exciting for two Alaska Natives! Lou was wonderful and we appreciated him tremendously. Great tour guide, great fun and we highly recommend this tour. Try to get Lou as your guide.Written May 31, 2022
- 972fredir0 contributionsCalling for HaraldI booked the early morning airboat tour in the Everglades. I couldn’t have wished for a better guide than Captain Ozzie. He gave me an unforgettable airboat experience. Highlight of the tour was when we did a stop to check out a small female alligator and Ozzie started to call for Harald??? And guess what, there was another male alligator swimming towards us and started to circle the airboat. It was Harald! Priceless! Thanks Captain Ozzi - you made my day!Written May 29, 2022
- Noa B0 contributionsA must have experience with captain Ozzie🐊Captain Ozzie the incredible! We had a blast 💥 of a float boat trip in the Everglades reservation! Ozzie explained every thing so patiently with a lot of humor. Highly recommend it to everyone💙Written April 23, 2022
- runesorebees0 contributionsHighlight of our TripExcellent. I loved it so much. I want to go back again (by KF, 7 years old). Ozzie the captain knows the Everglades like the back of his hand. Very knowledgeable and informative. And MJ the owner was great with follow up and the details. Highly recommend these guys.Written March 19, 2022
- 214jennae0 contributionsBest Private Airboat TourFirst and foremost, Ozzie is the man! He accommodated us when we were lost and unable to start at our initial time. He was still able to give us a full tour and it was absolutely AMAZING! Truly an amazing experience and don’t believe we would have gotten the same experience with any other company. Very informative and we all learned a lot about this awesome ecosystem! Highly recommend! Go see Ozzie!! You won’t regret it!Written March 12, 2022

This was a great Everglades tour from start to finish. We were contacted early the morning of the tour to confirm we'd be there. When we arrived, we were quickly met by a rep with a form to complete. Once all tour participants were there, we went to the air boat even though it was a bit early. We had 3 groups: one of 4, one of 3, and one of 2. Everyone was seated as directed by the pilot who kept groups together as much as possible. The seats were very comfortable with backs and cushioning. We then took off on a one hour trip that was a real blast. Gus Onebear was our pilot and he did a great job of piloting. We sped along when needed and slowed as needed. Didn't see a lot of wildlife but what we saw was great: colorful birds and fish plus an alligator. Trip was well worth the cost even if we had seen no wildlife. The air boat (actually a grass boat) is specially designed to go across even zero water so that allowed us to go in ways most others do not. This is an experience not to be missed!

There are more than a few air boat tours to choose from. This one had the proper experience we were going for! Balance of a personal feel (9 people total), very knowledgeable guide (fauna & flora), right price, and duration (90 min allowed for more extended encounters). Lots to see and do for a first-timer!! Beautiful November weather.

If you like the big commercial operators with tens of boats taking big groups, you’ll likely give this one a miss.
If, on the other hand, you favor an experience where you and max. 5 other guests will glide the waters and stop at interesting points during the tour where the passionate guide (we had Lorens/zo) explains everything about the ecosystem, the importance of the area, the types of vegetation in, on and above the water, and of course the animals, then I strongly recommend this.
We had an amazing ride.

Great airboat tour! We went to the wrong address but they were very accommodating. The 60 minute tour was very insightful and entertaining. We saw beautiful birds and two alligators. Came right up to the boat. Ozzie (I think was his name) was very informative about the Everglades and entertaining as well. Highly recommend!

Best experience we had all week! Lolo was a great guide, he stopped often to explain what we were seeing and answered every question. Saw birds 🦅 and fish 🐠 and he even found a couple alligators 🐊. We fed birds from our hands! The airboat ride was very fun with fast slides through turns but not dangerous. My wife got to ride up top next to Lorenzo and she will never forget thee thrill! I highly recommend this small boat experience. Parking was a little difficult due to the construction on site, but just park near their small folding sign as soon as you turn off the highway they will come and take you to the airboat landing.

Nine of us had lotsa fun zooming around the swamp and spotting alligators, blue herons, hawks, grackles, fish, lily pads, and lots of sharp swamp grass! Lorenzo our guide was very knowledgeable about plants and animals. Important: Wait at Route 41 right at the turnoff (stand at the STOP SIGN) to the Valujet Memorial. Wear a tight-fitting hat or one with a chin strap or it will blow off! Wear sun block and a light jacket because even though the air is 70 degrees the wind is high! Highly recommend!! Sincerely, PKI from Moscow, IDAHO.

I thought ENT was the best because the boats were small and the guides could interact with us personally. The two guides were very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the plants and animals. We got up very close to a gator and we’re able to take great pictures. I even had a grackle light on my hand to eat some seeds. I will highly recommend ENT to my family and friends and would definitely choose them again if I had the opportunity.

Humans have done an excellent job of destroying the "swamp", especially those who discarded their "pet" snakes there, which in turn have decimated the otter, raccoon and opossum populations. Those who care should visit this vast, beautiful area before it's gone. The tour guides are local, young men who are licensed by the state of FL to keep the python population controlled as best they can and to be caretakers of a once magnificent environment. The operator of this tour has no bricks and mortar location. You are taken to a boat ramp where the fan boats and guides are. The price is very reasonable for what you get. A monetary tip here is appreciated and well deserved.

Booked and paid online, got a text day of trip to put us at ease that if we needed anything we could ask! Drove from Ocean Dr., Miami (50 min), parked in dirt lot at construction site, seemed odd but guide truck greeted us. Airboat trip was a great learning experience, ONLY COLD! it was 67 and overcast, needed windbreakers, sweatshirts etc. Oops! We had shorts and tee, cold from wind!!! Loved the off the beaten path feel and the personal experience and interaction with Ozzy!!!! Even on cold day saw gator and bunch of babies! Birds landed on boat, and time to ask as many questions as we had!

Booked last minute and were so happy to have Captain Ozzie as our guide. He has lived his whole life on the Everglades and was able to provide such memorable personal stories that it made the trip so much better than we anticipated. He is funny, knowledgeable and very honest in his stories about the Everglades. We loved how he respected the environment- both plants and animals and spoke so passionately about it. He took extra time to find hidden alligators and birds for us to see. Excellent guide and great trip. Highly recommend this.
