A note from 1-Hour Air boat Ride and Nature Walk with Naturalist in Everglades National Park
We are limiting the number of guests in our vehicles for our small group shared tours to 10 or 11 (the previous max was 14). Masks worn by both guests and guides are required for the transportation parts of the tour. There is plenty of social distancing while participating in outdoor activities.

Plan for an early morning pickup from your Fort Lauderdale or Miami area hotel, or Port Miami. You can also have your luggage stored free during your tour. Head to Everglades National Park, where your experienced naturalist guide leads you on a nature walk, sharing information about the various ecosystems within the park. Visit a hardwood hammock with mature trees, tropical plants, and wildlife. Experience many different variety of bird species. Next, board an airboat for a thrilling ride through the water prairie system, where wild alligators live. Visit a Native Indian tree island village and learn about the customs and culture of the local people. This tour is great for nature lovers and those who want to retreat from the bustle of Miami and see its wilder side. End your tour with drop-off to your hotel or at the airport for an afternoon flight.

We pick up at hotels and other locations in many Miami, Hollywood, and Ft. Lauderdale areas and neighborhoods. We also pick up from Port Miami ---- We can drop off at Port Miami and Port Everglades. We do not pick up at Port Everglades for shared tours at this time. We can drop off at Miami Airport and Ft. Lauderdale Airport. We can provide a convenient meet up location for anyone coming from outside our pick up areas, including those coming from the Keys, Homestead, and other south Miami-Dade County locations. We can provide a convenient meet up location for those coming from north or west of our pick up range in Ft. Lauderdale. For shared tours, we may not be able to pick up north of Sunrise Blvd. or west of I-95 in Ft. Lauderdale. We provide free luggage stowage. Some guests may decide to be dropped off at the airport, cruise port, or at a different location or hotel at the conclusion of the tour. There is no extra charge for this service, as long as it is within our transportation zone. We assume that guests will be returning to the same pick up or meet up location at the end of the tour unless they arrange these details with us ahead of time, however. We are usually able to provide a broader range of transportation for private tours. The standard pick up time is about 7:15 or 7:30 a.m. However, we will message you the afternoon before the tour to provide you with the exact pick up time. This time will typically be a 10 minute window of time. Please make sure to be ready at the location and visible (somewhere near the front doors of the hotel, for example) prior to that pick up window. Thank you.
Miccosukee - Resort & Gaming, 500 SW 177th Ave, Miami, FL 33194, USA The best place to park at this location is in the large parking lot on the north side of the casino. It is free and safe to park. We will be pulling up along the curb on the north side of the casino. This location is not be confused with the Miccosukee Village.
Miccosukee Indian Village Gift Shop, Mile Marker 36, US-41, Miami, FL 33194, USA Please be advised that this location is a 20-minute drive west of the Miccosukee Casino (also called Miccosukee Resort & Gaming). This location is about 1/2 mile west of Shark Valley, the north entrance of Everglades National Park. There is a large parking lot. It is free and safe to park.

Covid-19 procedures: We will be limiting the number of people to 10 or 11 per vehicle. We will be vigorously cleaning and wiping down everything in each vehicle after after every tour and following CDC guidelines for many other procedures as well. We will provide hand sanitizer and sanitizer wipes for guests as they enter the vehicle and will be requiring a mask to be worn by everyone for the transportation part of our tours.

Half-day was awesome

Thoroughly enjoyed the half day tour with Ben. After being picked up from our hotel, we drove ~45 minutes out to the Everglades for a nature walk followed by the airboat ride. Ben was very knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating, even providing some snacks and drinks throughout the day. We look forward to booking another tour with Wild Lime when we come back to the area, and would definitely recommend to friends.

Easy and Fun Way to Visit the Everglades

Ben was a great tour guide! Prior to our excursion there was clear communication for pick up and directions, which made our car ride very easy. We learned a lot on our nature walk and he answered every question I had (which was a lot.) I actually left my water bottle in the van after we left the air boat, Ben happily made an extra trip to drop it off at my Airbnb. He is awesome! I would recommend Wild Lime Adventures to anyone of any age that wants to visit the Everglades.

Fantastic tour
We absolutely loved this tour. Ben was great, and even though it was unusually cold we saw lots of wildlife including plenty of alligators. The airboat was fun, as always, and we got to see an alligator up close and personal.

Eco nature walk
Communication and pick was great by our guide, Mike. There is a few pickups along the way, which wasn’t too bad. Nice ride out to the middle of the Everglades, with a restroom stop at a general store. Then it’s off for a short ride out to the National Park entrance. There is a visitor center there and restrooms. We were offered cold water before our hike. The hike is a leisurely mile or so, with a brief rest break about half way there. Also, we hiked briefly down a slightly muddy trail if you choose to, which was great. It wasn’t that muddy, but I guess if your wear Gucci, you might want to skip it. We got really up close and personal with a lot of wild life. We saw snakes, egrets, alligators, turtles and all kind of birds. The air boat ride was fun. But, I really enjoyed the hike, and was glad we had a guide. Our guide was fantastic, and interesting, another family attempted to join our group, LOL, but true. There were plenty of breaks, and restroom stops, which was appreciated. I didn’t feel rushed.
I highly recommend this Eco tour and Mike.

We had a great time on this tour. The posting should include that there is a 2 hour nature hike and then a pretty cool airboat ride. The shuttle vans that pick you up are really nice!

Thank you for taking a moment to leave a review. The nature walk isn't exactly a 2-hour hike. It is an easy walk really, of about an hour and 20 minutes, led by a naturalist; but then with time to explore and walk on one's own a bit too - which all in all, does total about 2 hours. We never want out guests to feel rushed, so we take out time. This 2-hour time frame is mentioned in the trip description online. We are glad you had a good time. Thanks for coming.

Amazing!

I cannot say enough great things about this tour and company! I set out to find a tour that had an informative guide for my nature loving family. My 5,7 and 10 year old were thoroughly entertained and our guide was able to answer all of their questions. We learned so much about local wildlife and Native American culture. This is the best tour on the Everglades!

Great half day excursion to Everglades
Our guide picked us in the south end of South Beach at the condo we were staying at. She was very friendly and we had a text saying she would be a few minutes late. Her background as a marine biologist provided for an informative ride and walking tour. Felt very safe as all wore masks and hearing protection headphones were sanitized. Enjoyed the adventure and arrived back at our condo by 1:30. Snacks and drinks also provided. Elvis was the perfect person for the boat ride and was amazing seeing him talk to Momma the old alligator we saw on the stop to the small island. Well worth the money.

This is a terrific tour. Ben and Stacy were wonderful, as was our boat ride with Elvis. If you want to actually experience the Everglades and see a TON of wildlife, this is for you. Highly recommend.

The nature walk was great. Saw about 55 gators. Ben was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and just a nice guy. Elvis was our boat captain and he did a great job of showing us around the Everglades. Lots of fun.

Boat ride
Awesime ride with authentic sites, didn't feel touristy.. Air boat driver was great, we got to eat some sugar cane 😀
