Overview
Visit a landscape of desert cliffs and rock formations on a Red Rock Canyon tour from Las Vegas with convenient options to suit your schedule. Get a glimpse of the wilderness that’s just beyond Las Vegas city lights, choosing between a half-day trip along Red Rock Canyon’s scenic loop road, or a longer trip that includes stops at petroglyphs, Native American sites, and Spring Mountain Ranch State Park.
What to Expect

Meet your driver at your Las Vegas hotel for the trip to Red Rock Canyon, a National Conservation Area that’s just 16 miles (26 kilometers) outside of Las Vegas’ bustling downtown.

If you opt for the half-day “Red Rock Express” tour, travel the 13-mile (21-kilometer) loop road that takes in Red Rock Canyon’s most scenic spots, learning about the canyon’s geography and wildlife along the way.

On the longer “Red Rock Canyon” tour, there’s more time to stop and check out the desert sights: See the colorful sandstone at Calico Hills, visit limestone roasting pits used by Native Americans, and take in the petroglyphs at Willow Springs. After driving the loop road through the park, continue to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, where you sit down to a picnic lunch on a ranch once owned by eccentric millionaire Howard Hughes.

The tour ends with drop-off at your Las Vegas hotel.

Ask for Jerry

The trip was amazing and Jerry is so entertaining and knowledgeable. If you like nature and history, this is a great day trip to make, just outside of Vegas. We’re planning on going to the Grand Canyon sometime in the near future and we’ll definitely...More

Good way to stay away from the Strip

Jerry (Gerry?) picked me up right on time and had a great sense of humor. He may not be everyone's cup of tea but we got along. Many on the trip were from other English speaking countries and there was little bonding going on, but...More

Not just Red, all Colors are visible

Starting with the Fall Colors in Summerlin, this afternoon tour is a must-do if one thinks only Arizona got nature but not Nevada. Red Rock Canyon has its own Grandeur.

Hello! I’m sorry I don’t remember exactly when we returned but it was certainly well before dinner time. Around 3 sounds about right. You should have enough time for an evening concert, but of course Vegas traffic is... More

You do not have to walk around at all if you don't want to. The majority of the stops were at areas that you could get off the bus and snap some pictures. There is one stop at the beginning that has a walking path, but... More
