Words cannot describe the beauty of this place. Our guide was Pat. He went above and beyond, taking great photos of everyone and keeping us entertained on a long drive. Trez was very knowledgeable about not only the Hoover Dam, but also LV, Boulder City, and he had great tips or hacks for pictures etc. Trez also was great at breaking the ice and was hilarious. Perfect trip. The tour was everything we wanted, and the meal provided was above normal four meals. Dan volunteered that he is neither a D or an R (like we care), but hah, his frequent bashing of Jimmy Kimmel, Anthony Faucci etc. told another story. Dan: you're not at a comedy club where we can heckle or walk out: we are a captive audience. You are actually a funny & personable guy: Please just tell funny stories & leave the indoctrination for your cocktail lounge shows. On the positive side, the bus driver Ken did his job beautifully. And overall this Hoover Dam tour was smooth, well planned, on-time & comfortable. The owners of the tour company did loop back to us and respond to our review above, and reassured us that future tours will not include such political commentary. - InnisWilkinson0 contributionsGreat entertainment whilst visiting an amazing feat of human engineeringThis was our second tour with Comedy on Deck tours...and like the first tour (Grand Canyon tour) it surpassed our expectations. The organisation was smooth, driving safe, but best of all the guide/comedian was superb. High energy, fun and informative, not only of the dam and the surrounding area...but also surviving Las Vegas in general while making the whole group laugh. The dam tour itself was great, however was just the short tour so would be nice if there was an option to have the extended tour...but that just me being a geeky engineer type! I think most people get everything they want from the shorter tour and a good amount of time on top of the dam to soak up how amazing it is 🙂 An added bonus of this tour is the lunch. It very nice and good portion size, so if you fed up with paying extortionate food prices on the strip this is a great way to see a spectacular feat of human engineering and dodge at least one meal expense while being entertained...what's not to love about this tour 😁 Finally the other bonus of this tour is free tickets to the LA Comedy club (at the Strat) which also provides evening entertainment. And having taken advantage of the free tickets I can confirm it is truly a great show and the perfect compliment to the Comedy on Deck tour. Thank youWritten January 3, 2025

As a local, I highly recommend this tour company for a trip to the Hoover Dam or Grand Canyon West. Convenient and timely pickup from multiple major casinos. The tour bus was very comfortable, and our tour guide, Jason, was knowledgeable about the history of the areas we passed and VERY funny! Gary, the driver, battled through tough crosswinds on the drive to the Grand Canyon, but you would have never known it was windy - the ride was that smooth! Comedy on Deck Tours is the only tour company to my knowledge that includes a delicious hot meal on their tour (we stopped at the famous Omelette House in Henderson where the food is great and the portions filling). The tour includes this breakfast, lunch at the Grand Canyon, admission into the park, and 3.5 hours to explore. As Grand Canyon West is located on Hualapai Tribal Lands, it can be an expensive trip to do on your own (the included lunch is $19 each at the park, and admission is roughly $40 per person). They even think of the little things that you might forget including sunscreen and several coolers of water. Additionally, they stop several times along the 2 hour drive so you can get snacks, alcohol, and souvenirs from local travel stops, and they have a cooler to keep your beer cool for the ride home!

I greatly enjoyed my tour of Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon yesterday. Our driver Kirkland kept us safe and running on time while our guide Ralph was very knowledgable and cracked us up the whole time with his sarcastic jokes. Some tours I've taken have been quite boring after a while but Ralph kept me engaged the whole time. Breakfast and lunch were plentiful so we didn't go hungry and we had time to and from the Grand Canyon for a bathroom break and to buy snacks/refreshments. The ride was comfortable and I was able to sneak in a nap during our downtime. As for Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon, Ralph communicated with us very well about the itinerary and expectations as well as where to spend our time at our stops. So we were able to maximize our time enjoying the scenery. As for the information presented on the tour, even as a local, I learned even more about the locations and Ralph gave us a detailed history on Las Vegas as well as prominent figures and Las Vegas tips to enjoy the Strip afterwards. I had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour!

The skywalk was amazing. If you want to take pictures you might want to consider skipping lunch and getting right in line as there was not enough time to take pictures with the time designated at this stop.
Jasón and Gary were great tour guides. They kept us entertained and were knowledgeable. They assisted people in getting on and off the bus, took pictures of our family and others at the Grand Canyon and Jasón memorized names during the trip making it more personal. I was super impressed that someone left their personal items on the bus and he made plans to double back to get the couple their stuff instead of making them figure out how to get their stuff!

The Grand Canyon was amazing and our tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. However, the guide did not wear a mask, and subsequently everyone else on the bus except for my friend and me removed their masks. We were in an enclosed space for 4+ hours with little social distancing and no masks. It felt very irresponsible and unsafe.
Also note that we were unable to stop at Hoover Dam for a photo opp because it was closed and the village was closed also. Neither were noted when we made our reservations and the cost was not adjusted accordingly.

Great day out
Thought it was good value for money at $155 a person including breakfast and lunch (basic but edible)
Tour felt well organised and the tour guide Dan did a great job. He swapped round breakfast and the Hoover Dam spot to mean we missed some bad weather at the West Rim, he also swapped round the stops (Guano and Eagles Point) and this meant the queues were a lot shorter when we arrived at each one. He was also entertaining and good at sharing his knowledge but didn’t over do it which was a good balance as it was a 5 - 6 hour round coach trip
Guano Point is the better stop with amazing views. We didn’t do the Sky Walk so we were a little bored at Eagles Point, we didn’t regret missing it though as you can see down to the bottom at Guano Point plus they charge ridiculous fees for photos and don’t allow you to take to take your own camera/phone with you
My only minor criticism was the tour was advertised on booking to be back in vegas for 5pm and we didn’t get back to the first stop until 6pm so we were running a bit late for our evening plans. Probably on us for trying to squeeze so much in but we were only there for a few days. Maybe just a watch out if you are wanting to do something in the evening
Also be aware tips aren’t included and the recommended is $10 for both the tour guide and driver plus tips for staff at breakfast and lunch so make sure you take some cash
Overall would recommend if you’re looking for a reasonably priced and easy trip to see the Grand Canyon from the strip

Ralph, was our Tour Guide and Eric was Driver. Both excellent and experienced. Ralph kept it personal, stress free and entertaining while on bus.
Tour was exactly as advertised. Breakfast and Lunch were very good. Bus was comfortable.
We were scheduled for Monday, but because they did not have enough people they asked if we would move to Tuesday. We agreed and they Refunded us half the price.
This was greatly appreciated and showed us they are reputable company
Big thing for us is they get you back to Vegas by 5:30 PM. A lot of the other tours you get back much latter. Remember, you leave at 6:30 AM - 11 hours is plenty

Our family had a wonderful time at the Grand Canyon West Rim. We enjoyed walking out to Guano Point and through the Native American Village at Eagle Point. Our tour included breakfast at the Omelet House and lunch at the Skywalk Cafe and we highly recommend the cheeseburger and fries! The bus driver Gary was very professional and our guide Trevor was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour!

This was so much fun! There was a bit of a hiccup that the owners did not anticipate in the morning, but they quickly made it right (at a additional expense to them) so our trip could be on time. This tour includes breakfast and lunch and free time at both Eagle Point and Guano Point. Our guide/comedian Trevor was knowledgable about the local sights and history, and as a local, I actually learned so much. He was funny, too! And not having to drive/pay attention to the road was a great perk as well. It was a great trip and though we did not do the Skywalk or helicopter tour, we still got great pics of the West Rim. Thank you Comedy on Deck, totally recommend you!!!

What a great time we had! There were sooo many Grand Canyon tours to choose from, West Rim, South Rim, etc. some of the prices were crazy too. We finally settled on the West Rim Ultimate Tour with Comedy on Deck Tours and OMG we were so happy we did. Our tour guides Crazy Jason and bus driver Gary were awesome! They not only kept us entertained And involved throughout the trip, but the info they gave us about everything we were seeing and doing was so informative. They did everything they could to make sure our experience was a memorable one. The West Rim worked out perfect because we were able to see the most amazing view of the Canyon and still get back with enough time to Take a nap, eat dinner and catch a show that night. As far as value, this was one of the best priced tour and our tour included a delicious hot sit down breakfast and a full hot lunch with the best view you could ever imagine (see picture). I am recommending these guys and tour group to all of my family and friends and would certainly use them again.

The grand canyon was beautiful and a once in a lifetime opportunity to see. The whole experience was great from clear pick up location details and name call out as there was multiple coaches on the day. Feedback for all travellers don't bother with the skywalk it's really not worth it as you can't take your own photos and last five minutes after queuing for 30 minutes. Andrew made the experience great by taking multiple photos for all without question and knew all the cool spots. Only feedback would be just make clear when scanning wristbands at entrance that you just get them scanned and then come back to coach as it got a bit messy there but other than that great experience. Fyi budget 20 dollar tip per person for driver and guide and a small one for breakfast in the morning which was actually delicious.

I have very limited mobility and cannot walk a lot, but my husband really wants to go on this tour. Would I be able to just stay on the bus at certain stops if I want to or would there be benches available at stops where I can just sit and wait if there is too much walking?

Please call the tour operator. In any bus tour I have been on, there have been people who have stayed on.

Can you book very close to the date you want to go ( I.e the day before) at the beginning of September, or does it get very booked up so you have to book in advance ?

We reserved a few weeks out. I am glad we did as the tour was fully booked. They are small groups so space fills quickly. However they did not charge my credit card until a few days before the tour, and I was able to cancel if needed up to that date with no penalty.

When you book you will be notified which hotel to go to for pickup. We were at Flamingo and pick up for us was One hotel over (the old Bally’s) It will be close to where you are staying.
