She did so much investigational work for me to help me come up with a solution and I will be forever grateful to her. I’ve never encountered someone I didn’t know to absolutely own an issue for me and felt like a family member of mine from the amount of care that was invested and already set the tone for the amazing tour that we had! Dana our tour guide was so sweet, patient, knowledgeable and had this cool loving mother vibe about her that made the tour so fun and memorable for us. We went while it was snowing which allowed us to see a whole other wintery experience which was amazing. I will definitely recommend this tour to everyone and anyone!Written January 20, 2025

The most beautiful view is during the winters when temp. are not to low. Thw site a night brings more n more beauty to this beautiful natural marvel of mother nature. The views were spectacular, our guide was fun and knowledgeable and it included all the admissions. Our guide exceeded our expectations by providing us with extra tickets to Skylon Tower so we could go back to view the falls and Christmas lights from above. I am originally from Buffalo but moved more than a decade ago so l knew I was no longer familiar enough with Niagara Falls to give a meaningful tour. All I wanted was to make amazing memories with my BF who had never been. Dayna exceeded our expectations. She went above and beyond at every turn. She was prompt! She was funny. She was VERY informative and had all the fun facts of not only the falls but the surrounding areas (US and Canada) which was EXACTLY what I wanted for our special day. She took a zillion pictures for us (thanks again) and made us feel incredibly comfortable + safe. The vehicle was immaculate and even saved our LIVES with a spare pare of socks for me and gloves for us both (freezing would be a gross understatement)! Do yourself a favor and book IMMEDIATELY. I want to start this review by saying that if it was not for the tour guide we had this would be a 2 star review. The reason is because we booked this online and everything we read stated the Maid of the Mist was included. We didn't hesitate to book this for $99 a person so $198 for myself and my girlfriend. We were both prepared to get wet wearing our frog toggs suits. When our guide Dayna arrived with the bus she shut down our expectations immediately by saying do you think you're going to get wet today? I said yeah and she said doing what? I said the Maid of the mist of course. She informed us that the boat was not even in the water yet due to ice and snow in the river which made perfect sense to me. It would have been nice though to have been told this when the company called to confirm our reservation but they said nothing so we assumed it was operating based on the information provided. While on the tour we also found out that another couple booked at the last minute and received their tickets for $80 each. That's not a huge deal but it was disappointing to hear. Had we had this information we probably would have cancelled the tour.
With all of that said we did still enjoy the tour very much. Dayna was great at interacting with the tour members and was great about making sure the group size didn't grow with people trying to drop into our group which did happen a few times. She shared a lot of knowledge about the falls, the electric power plant and the daredevils that have braved going over the falls. She was constantly trying to make the group laugh. One that stuck out was she said we could be the first tour bus to go over the falls. After all the tour company is named over the falls tours. Dayna also made sure to take photos at all key locations for the group members which I felt was above and beyond her duties as a guide and was extremely appreciated by everyone.
If you book this tour make sure you ask if all included items are open and operating because the company may not tell you. If you do book this I would suggest you request Dayna as your guide. You won't be disappointed.

We value your opinion and have addressed your specific concerns directly with the booking agent regarding the itinerary and what is included and not included during the off season months. The Niagara Falls experience we provide is seasonal, based on the time of visit and subsequently attraction availability. Attraction availability varies most in early spring during the months of April and May and as a result prices may vary during this off season time.
If in the future you are visiting Niagara Falls please contact Over the Falls Tours, we would love to have you on our tour including the Maid of the Mist.

Dayna was the best tour guide!! She has an amazing knowledge of the Niagara area and it’s history and was able to answer all of the questions our group threw her way. I recommend the winter wonderland tour because it is far less crowded than the summer months at the falls and it was very enjoyable to be able to take photos without a million people in the background. Over the falls also takes covid very seriously and makes sure that during the duration of your bus ride that all occupants have a mask on. I’m not a fan of the colder months, but would definitely go back!!

We were so happy to find a tour because we did not know where to start and what to see. Dayna was our tour guide. She was lots of fun, knowledgeable and great with the kids. It was nice to be on the tour bus between sites because we came in late November (cold). She took us to the most scenic sites and gave recommendations on what else to do during our stay. It really took the guesswork out of our trip.
Dayna took some great family photos for us too. The bus was half full so we were able to sit a row apart each group (this is during the pandemic), no eating or drinking and masks at all times. She did stop at a popular deli, DeCamillo Bakery, which had some delicious doughnuts and pizza. We were able to eat at our next stop outside. 100% recommend this tour and Dayna if you can.

Dayna was great! It seems we picked a good day. No ice, no rain, and hardly any people. Dayna in her tour bus picked us up outside our hotel. The bus was relatively full, but masks were on at all times on the bus, and hand sanitizer was readily available. We covered all the main parts of the falls with knowledgeable commentary from Dayna as we went. What an amazing trip. Will definitely be back in warmer temps though I’m not sure I want to deal with the crowds.

Absolutely enjoyed our tour! My girlfriend and I are from out of state (Texas) and had an absolute blast with Dayna. She is so full of energy, really funny and it’s apparent she is so passionate about the Niagara Falls area. I proposed to my girlfriend here so it is definitely a memory we will never forget!! Party Marty was great! He was extremely informative of the area and all of its nuances. He took us to several great stops, including several different falls views from above and below. We also loved the drive along the river, seeing the whirlpool, the small towns surrounding the area, and the bakery. Overall, an amazing experience that we very much enjoyed!

Our family group of 9 (moms, kids, aunts, cousins, sisters- All WOMEN) did this tour with Dayna and had an awesome time! The views were BEAUTIFUL and we got to see it with alot of snow. Dayna was very kind, energetic, patient with us and informative of what we were seeing.
My favorite part of the tour was to see the falls with alot of snow in the background, definitely a unique experience. It was very cold but sooo worth it!!! Dayna also took us to buy a quick lunch with the option of pastries and the food was delicious!
We loved this tour and recommend it 100%

We loved the tour, Dakota was an excelent guide, he is knowledgeable, kind, entertaining and caring about everybody on the group, acomodating to each of our necessities since we have a baby with us. He was very clear on his instructions and what he wanted us to do. He took the time to Crack a couple of jokes during the bus ride on top of his landmark and historics remarks so we didn't get bored and to keep us engaged. He is definitely an asset to the company since he has a personal touch and cares about the tourists without invading personal space, so much that my 7 year old son wanted to come back because he missed our group . We will come back to you in the future.

Wow! What a phenomenal experience with the greatest tour guide on earth, Nancy! While it was raining, Nancy made our tour so much fun that we didn’t even notice it was raining. This was our first trip to Niagara Falls, but certainly won’t be our last. We are looking forward to coming again in the summer for the Maid of the Mist boat ride, I’m hoping that we will be allowed to request a tour guide as we would love to see Nancy again!
