Sailing is a life changing experience!
You will learn how to read the winds, feel the waves, and guide a large sailing yacht into the open waters of Okanagan Lake. We provide hands on instruction and lots of opportunities over four hours to learn how to operate and sail a modern sailboat.
And it is is unbelievably beautiful! The scenery is spectacular, from the many developed wineries on The Naramata Bench to the wild natural areas and park. Photographers will love it!
The lake is warm and clean. You will love when we anchor up to go for a swim or for a paddleboard. It is the perfect experience to spend a day in the outdoors to create family memories or incredible encounters with friends.
We offer more than just sailing too! Explore how to better navigate your life. Learn how to better respond to winds of change. We bring together the skills of sailing and the art of wisdom: ‘sailing with heart’. It is a mix of sunshine, laughter, friendship and also a meaningful encounter.

- Naramata Marina, 3165 4th St, Naramata, BC V0H 1N0, Canada Meet us at the wharf for the Naramata Marina. It is located just west of Manitou Park in the village of Naramata BC (a beautiful short drive from Penticton, BC). You can park in Manitou Park or on one of the streets nearby. We will pick you up via tender to Anam Cara.

Pure joy! An incredibly welcoming, fun, and informative experience. Dan & Robyn are wonderful hosts; they took the time to educate me on the art of sailing and the sailing boat itself. We had a beautiful day relaxing on the lake. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to go again!

A splendid experience of adventure and reflective conversation with two wonderful hosts and skilled sailors - Robyn and Dan. We were provided with the opportunity to learn how to sail which was an amazing encounter in itself. We very much recommend this 'trip' of exploring beautiful sites, engaging in soulful exchange, and learning how to sail. We would love to join Dan and Robyn again on the Anam Caron!!

If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, then look no further! Dan & Robyn are a lovely couple who offer a soulful experience in a beautiful part of the world. They've crafted a sailing adventure that not only allows for time on the water with other like-minded souls but also depth of conversation and guidance as you navigate the internal winds and waves that move you. You're in very capable and compassionate hands. I enjoyed my time with Dan & Robyn immensely and I look forward to many more adventures together.

What an extraordinary day! Beautiful boat and the captain and first mate were knowledgeable and charming. We were well taken care of and the day of sailing was magical. Definitely planning a repeat trip on Anam Cara.

It was my first time sailing and such a beautiful experience to do it with Robyn and Dan. I learned so much and soaked up everyone minute of it.

Sailing on Okanagan lake in this beautiful boat under full sail in a brisk wind is a magical experience. You can feel the full blended power of boat and wind while manning the wheel under the watchful eye of captain Dan and 1st mate Robyn.
