Everyone has to do this - all right, there may be the odd mad whale. I don't know yet how we didn't end up upside down in the water with the one that kept belting our boat! Recommended to everyone

I booked two nights and an iceberg tour. I could not have asked for better hosts. Barb, Robert and Cindy were absolutely amazing and really made me feel so welcome. The lodge is so well built with a very quaint and relaxing feel to it. Such amazing food too in the kitchen.
Iceberg tour was So phenomenal and skipper Bob really made everyone on tour feel welcome and included. We were all in awe at his awesome demeanour and knowledge of the area. I would do this over and over again. If in Trinity, you really should consider trinity eco tours for accommodation and whale/iceberg tours. 10/10 in my books

It was an an awesome experience for me too. I can not hold my excitement when all the stars align with great guests, great bergs and great conditions together. We are seeing it all now with great whale viewing .

We booked 2 nights at the lodge plus a whale watching Zodiac tour and an ATV tour. Our whale tour was booked for the Wednesday morning but the weather was too rough so we easily switched to the following day and then were able to move our evening ATV tour to the afternoon.
Before we set out on the zodiac Captain Bob gave us a brief rundown of the whales and marine life that come to the area and helped us identify the whales with photos, Then we headed down to the shore-side and were kitted out in lovely warm suits. You definitely needed them with your gloves and hats etc. The zodiac has fixed seating positions and there were 6 of us plus the captain. We headed out and were lucky enough to see several humpbacks and a brief Minke glimpse. We also went over to an island where we could get a closer look at the puffins. The excursion lived up to our expectations and we had a great time. I never felt we were in any way harassing the marine life. It's a much closer to nature experience than the bigger boats that go out and I highly recommend it. Afterwards we were able to warm up with a hot lunch at the lodge cafe.
