My wife loves goats.. I mean loves them. Always a highlight where ever we are and this place is close to home. Spent the afternoon here with the baby goat snuggle, lunch and the goat "shmurgle". Both goat experiences were awesome, my wife and 23 yr old son thoroughly enjoyed it. It was so much fun seeing this.
Highly recommend the Baby Goat Snuggle and it you have the time the "Shmurgle" is a lot fun, from "Release the Goats" to the "Here Goatie, Goatie, Goatie" call. I have to admit I was skeptical of this call ( I worked on farms in my youth) but it really did work!!
If you or any family members love goats then you have to visit here. They also have a shop and a cafe here too.

This was a great experience. My sister, my 4 year old niece and myself did both the Shmurgle and the goat cuddle. The Shmurgle was great and I liked that you walked around with them as well as sitting in the pen instead of just sitting. I would say for those with mobility issues, the Schmurgle is a walk with a bit of a hill.
We also did the goat cuddle. I would say you can do either or. It wasn't necessary to do both as many of the baby goats from the cuddle were included in the regular Schmurgle.
Both the Shmurgle and cuddle had 10 or less people which was great. More than that would have been a lot.
We didn't do the Cafe as many items have goat cheese which isn't a favourite but brought snacks and hung out by the car between events.
It was a great day and everyone loved it.

The shmurgle was a lovely way to spend some time in nature with the most enchanting group of goats. My 7 and 9 year old kids loved feeding the goats grass and cedar on our walk, and we all got to pat and cuddle them at the end of the walk. They are such sweet and friendly animals. It was therapeutic for all of us to connect with them at the farm. We also took some time to walk the paths by ourselves, visit with the alpacas and horses, and learn about the farm and its animals from the friendly and knowledgeable staff members.
The cafe also has a variety of food and drinks, everything we tried was delicious.

Overall a fun experience. A unique experience you wouldn’t get at the zoo. Some issues we had were as follows:
We wore sandals and it should really specify on their website that running shoes or boots are recommended. The walk was very hilly with long wet grass and weeds that made it uncomfortable in sandals, which a lot of walkers had on.
We would not recommend the schmurgle for young children (on their website it specifies a price for ages 2-5). The walk was really too long and too fast-paced for our 2.5 year old (and perhaps a bit long in general). As a result, we fell behind at the back of the group and the goats weren’t near us almost the whole time because of we couldn’t keep up. The host did not really check in on us at the back and just stayed at the front of the pack which was unfortunate.
The snuggles with the goats happened the last 10 minutes (which was the best part) - just wish there was more time than that.
We loved snuggling and petting the goats. Overall good experience, but feel as though it was way too pricey for what it was.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a yome for our 10th wedding anniversary and everything exceeded our expectations. The daily breakfast is scrumptious. Debbie, Hitharth and the rest of the staff were so warm and friendly. We did the blind chef tasting dinner, which was exceptional. Chef Lesley pulled out all the stops and every course was delightful, full of local goodness and we happened to have the entire place to ourselves which made it even more magical. We both work in high-end hospitality in Toronto and were impressed with the food and service. The shmurgle was so much fun, the goats are just adorable and super friendly. We can't wait to go back with friends!

Property is nice and animals are cute but it is way overpriced. It's a 1 hour tour but the first 10 minutes are spent listening to a drawn out story about the owners. I would recommend just popping in for a visit but not booking an experience.

It was so much fun, and worth the drive. Just trust your GPS, it is there. lol. We started out with the goats and we got go for a walk with them around the property. You have not lived until you have 6 to 7 goats pass by you on their way to the field to eat. Tip: Get out of there way. It was fun walking with them, petting them and herding them. I was the one at the back making sure they all went and getting them to keep going. Great experience. Then we had time to play with them in a area that had climbing items for them. Many after the walk lied down, but then we were given cedar branches, they were very excited. We got to sit and hang out and the goats came and went around us. One jumped on my bench and hung out for awhile. Ask the woman or man the goats names. They will tell you all about them. Next was an alpaca walk!! Tip: Listen to the instructions given, don't touch the heads. They spit. Not alot and you can hear them getting ready so you can go for cover. The walk around the property was fun as well. You get one alpaca for two people. Mine was Zoea and she didn't want to continue the walk half way through. But Widget and Shawdow were there and as a family we took turn with each one to walk. Lots of fun, even in the rain for us. Lastly, we went to the cafe for goat ice cream, which was very good. Tip: Chocolate and wine was delicious. We also got a cheese place to share, the was great. We ended up purchasing some to talk home. Nice people, nice place, nice animals. Amazing experience. One for the bucket list for sure!

During our visit we were met with severe weather halfway through our walk with the goats, the staff were quick to make adjustments to keep their guests safe. We were well taken care of during the storm and the owner spent time with us to ensure that every opportunity was taken to make our stay enjoyable. The experience they provide at Haute Goat is in a word, therapeutic. We will visit many more times in the future.

My 9 yr old granddaughter and I did the goat shmurgle and the sleepover with the alpacas. It was truly an amazing experience. Kim introduced us to the goats and it wasn’t long before they were our friends too. Each have their own little personality and were real charmers.
We did some exploring of the grounds and checked into the little cottage in the alpaca pen. The alpacas were curious but not intimidating.
The cottage was very cozy even though we woke up to snow, it suited us just fine.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming.
In exchange for some light chores (filling some water bowls) my granddaughter was able to have a visit with the baby goats. She was over the moon!
Breakfast was wonderful too. I’m sorry we weren’t able to stay for dinner, the menu looked great!
I would highly recommend Haute Goat farm it’s a real hidden gem.

The walk was fun. Bit fast for toddlers and strollers are not recommended. My husband pucked him up most of the way but we all were able to pet the big goats and had time to cuddle with the baby goats as well. It was a really fun experience for all.

It changes often but is very good - all home cooked flavours and very hearty. The breakfast was amazing!
