Overview
Running through the heart of one of Portland’s hippest neighborhoods, North Mississippi Avenue is a true culinary hotspot, home to brewpubs, food carts, and restaurants. That being said, it's often hard to ensure you hit up the best places if you're not a local. On this food tour, your local guide takes you to some of the best places to dine and drink. Plus, you'll receive personalized attention in a small group limited to 14.
What to Expect
Your tour starts at Mee Sen Thai Eatery, where you’ll get the chance to sample all sorts of Thai delights along with your choice of blueberry soda or Oregon microbrew. From here, your guide takes you on a walk down eclectic North Mississippi Avenue, taking you past a mix of unusual boutiques, bars, and cafes.
Stops vary from tour to tour, but may include a visit to the varied food carts at Mississippi Marketplace or a break at The Meadow, a culinary boutique stocking everything from Pacific Northwest bitters to artisan chocolate. Save room for dessert, for your tour concludes at Ruby Jewel Scoops, where you’ll get to try your choice of Portland’s most-loved ice cream sandwiches.
