Itinerary
Your tour starts in Downtown Charleston at a local restaurant. Meet your guide, and get ready to try some of the best local food the city has to offer. The meeting point is conveniently near downtown hotels and parking garages.

From there, your guide will take you to a number of eateries to sample some of their best menu items. Get a taste of the South with dishes such as special sliders and pies, and wrap up your tour with a dessert. Your samples are large enough that by the end of this tour, you should be satisfied. Hear guide commentary about the city’s history along the way.

This food tour ends near the original departure point. If you’re going to be in the area longer, you’ll go home with suggestions about where to eat for the rest of your trip.

Some good, some bad and some ugly

Our guide "Mimi" was very good. The food was a mixed bag of Great, mediocre and poor. Poogan's food was delicious but it went down hill from there. Glad we did it but wouldn't do it again.More

Happy to hear you enjoyed Mimi's tour and glad you found some dishes worthy to be called Great! Unfortunately, you've described a much larger spectrum of food quality than what we aim for on tour. Since our goal is greatness throughout, we would love if...More

Agreed. Maybe 4 blocks between restaurants? Kind of goes in a square so you end up near where you started. It's a strolling pace.
