Overview
The uninhabited Morris Island makes a nice contrast to the nearby city of Charleston, but Morris Island isn’t easy to get to, as it’s only accessible by boat. This cruise sets sail from Bowens Island and takes you to Morris Island to spend free time exploring it at your own pace before heading back. Be on the lookout for marine life, such as bottlenose dolphins and sea turtles, from the boat.

The tour was very informative and it was fun (but cold) out on the water. Learn of the importance of the marshes to the ecology of the area. Shelling in Morris Island was interesting but a bit too long at 55 degrees. Dialogue could’ve used more local color. You could tell
