- Jennifer C0 contributionsAmazing True Crime Tour in Memphis! My husband and I had an incredible experience on this true crime tour! Even though it was just the two of us, Mary gave the tour with the same energy and enthusiasm as if she were speaking to a full bus. Her deep knowledge of Memphis history, engaging storytelling, and friendly personality made the tour both fascinating and enjoyable. Aubrey was a fantastic driver, ensuring a smooth ride and perfectly timing each stop to align with Mary’s narration. Together, they created an immersive and well-paced experience, bringing the stories of Memphis’ past to life. If you’re a fan of true crime or just love learning about the hidden history of a city, this tour is a must! Highly recommend!Written February 3, 2025

- B4561SGheatherd0 contributionsCold but exciting dayWith family visiting Memphis for the first time, we were excited to share the city we’ve come to call home since moving here in 2020. What better way to do that than with the Memphis Discovery Tour? Taylor Nicole and Miss Princess were absolutely delightful, fun and full of smiles, even on this chilly 20 degree January day. It ended up being just the four of us with these two amazing women and that made the experience feel even more personal and special. Taylor Nicole was a fantastic guide, brimming with knowledge and a true passion for the history of Memphis. Her enthusiasm made every stop along the tour come alive with stories and insights. It was clear she genuinely cares about the city and its people, making the experience feel not just educational but also incredibly personal. Her energy made us feel like we were touring the city with a friend who truly wanted us to understand and appreciate all that Memphis has to offer. We had an amazing time on this tour and couldn’t recommend it more! Whether you're visiting or a local, it's the perfect way to enjoy Memphis' rich history and vibrant culture.Written January 23, 2025

- robertwN7927KH0 contributionsSounded great, incredibly disappointing! We did Graceland, City and Sun Studios tours too. All these others had well informed guides, great stories, easy to follow and very fun. This crime tour was the exact opposite. Facts not believable, stories all over the place and made no sense, not well prepared and overall awful experience. You could tell 15 minutes into the tour this was going to be the longest two hours ever spent on a tour. Not only the worst tour we did in Memphis, this was the worse tour we’ve ever done and I’ve been to all 50 states.Written December 31, 2024
- Heather S0 contributionsInteresting History of Memphis crime. We opted for a crime tour after enjoying one in Seattle. I wish it wasn’t raining during the tour. We definitely didn’t don’t get the full experience. We enjoyed the stories and learned a lot. Taylor was great.Written December 29, 2024

Enjoyed the Beale Street tour and our guide Renae was great. It was a hot day and she was able to stop us inside a couple of places to break up the time in the heat. She was very informative and enthusiastic about the area. When asked for a suggestion of an evening music venue she provided a couple and that night we went to one—Rum Boogie Cafe, where we loved listening to Freeworld!

Easy to book. Tour met as advertised, on time. Guide Charlie was interactive and made us feel like we were living life on Beale Street during it's hey-day. He mixed historical facts with a few scandals, the group was riveted to what he was saying. Easy walk, about 5 blocks, bring your camera and a few dollars to tip you're guide. You won't be sorry. Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic tour and went into detail about the building and the people who had an impact on Beale St. The tour guide was informative and knowledgeable and was good about asking if we have questions. Even though the tour is only an hour and covers a few blocks, it was well worth the time and money. I highly recommend the tour for any out-of-town visitors.

Great city tour with a knowledgeable and engaging tour guide. She provided both a historical context for the tour, and great information about the changes that have taken place on Beale Street over the past 100+ years. We were able to walk on the steps of some Memphis greats, with their notes stamped in concrete including Elvis,
Jerry Lee Lewis, Earl the Pearl Banks, Robert Johnson, Aretha Franklin, and Albert King. Live music played in the background, super fun!
Highly recommend!

Our guide,Michael, was very personal and very informative and since he grew up in Memphis and lived here his entire life he gave us some great history on the City and on Beale Street going back to the early 1800's.Since I am a disabled Marine Veteran he slowed down to my pace and we took several breaks under shade trees while he explained the different aspects of the unique parts of Memphis and Beale Street. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

I learned a ton about Beale Street history, and also history of Memphis in general as well. It was a fascinating walking tour and lasted over one hour. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us time to ask questions when we wanted to. Overall, I would highly recommend this walking tour of Beale Street.

I have been a Memphian for over 20 years and took my family on this Beale St tour, so glad I did!
Shannon was an AMAZING tour guide. I have been on a lot of tours in every city I go to, but never one in my own home town. Wish I’d done it sooner!
The tour was so informative, she was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and seemed passionate about our wonderful city. Would highly recommend for visitors and natives of Memphis!

We had had such a great time with Shannon on the historic walking tour of Memphis that we booked this tour for the next day. We learned about the history of many of the building and where the voodoo store was. Take this tour if only to get a local's recommendations for where to go for the best blues bands.

ARe dogs allowed? Can you pay at the sight? We are not getting to Memphis much before 11 and are not sure if we will make it. If we can, would love to see it.
