What to Expect
Start your Muir Woods National Monument and Sausalito tour with pickup from Union Square. Drive over the Golden Gate Bridge and catch sight of Alcatraz on the way to Muir Woods.
Upon arrival, bypass the entrance lines and head inside to wander the forest grounds at your own speed. See California’s old-growth redwood trees, and take in the fresh air.
Next, get back in your vehicle for the ride to the Sausalito waterfront. Again, you can explore at your own pace as you walk the waterfront. Pop into art galleries or snag a snack or a drink (at your own expense).
Afterward, your tour ends with a ride back to San Francisco. If you’ve upgraded to take the ferry, enjoy a boat ride back to the city.
