Our host Anthony was brilliant all day and super knowledgeable about the area. We had such a great day and he made it really fun. Would absolutely recommend these guys.
Get to know some of Sonoma’s wine makers on this full-day, small-group tour. This excursion is good for visitors who want to taste local wines and see some of San Francisco’s surrounding areas. Don’t worry about driving while you visit three boutique wineries with a guide. Then explore neighboring Sausalito and see spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Start with a pick-up from your San Francisco hotel. Then sit back for a scenic ride out of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin County. Learn about the area from your guide as you head north to Sonoma.
Then stop at two wineries where you do guided wine tastings, sample different varietals, and learn about the wine making process.
Next, explore downtown Sonoma with time for lunch (own expense), and peruse historic landmarks gourmet food shops, and upscale boutiques in the plaza. After lunch, enjoy one final wine tasting and then take a short journey to the neighboring bayside town of Sausalito. You have the option to stay in Sausalito and take a ferry ride back across the San Francisco Bay to San Francisco (own expense about $12), or continue on to a lookout with great views of the Golden Gate Bridge before returning to your hotel.
