Explore Boston’s beer scene the effortless way on a morning or evening tour. Sample as many as 18 varieties of beer, see the beer-making process first hand and talk with owners at establishments like the legendary Samuel Adams, the eclectic Meadhall and the oldest brewpub in the area, Cambridge Brewing Company. Lunch or dinner, beer tastings and round trip transportation to downtown Boston are all included in one convenient flat price.
What to Expect
On the morning tour, meet your guide in downtown Boston and board your bus. Prepare to imbibe and get educated on the histories and specialties of breweries that may include Samuel Adams, one of the earliest and most prolific American craft brewers, Night Shift Brewing, which specializes in barrel-aged beers, or the nearly three-decade-old Cambridge Brewing Company. The tour ends with lunch at Meadhall, a gastropub featuring sandwiches, bar fare and a drink menu with dozens of American and European beers.

The night tour focuses on nanobrewing—or the production of beer in batches of three barrels or less—and may include Boston’s first such operation, Idle Hands, which brews German and Belgian style beer, as well as Mystic Brewery, Cambridge Brewing and Night Shift. The tour ends with dinner at Boston Beer Works, a brewery serving pizza, burgers, sandwiches and salads.
