Very interesting tour. Well informed guide who provided lots of information, with very subtle humour. Covered much more of Boston than expected. Highly recommended.
Even though it was a very cold day, this tour was well worth it. Alan was fun and knowledgeable. He also took us to a couple of places to get warm. I recommend this tour.

It was a cold winter day and we brave the cold and book a walking tour with Alan. He did a great job sharing the history and educating us of the importance of the different location. We had a great time. Thanks Alan!
This was an amazing tour! There were the basics like the state houses, Paul Revere's ride and the various parks, but our tour guide gave us a lot of fun trivia, jokes and cool history of the area, especially where to go for lunch.

Alan was great, knowable and humorous. A good tour as far as Beacon Hill, a little thin after that but still enjoyable. I would recommend the tour from start to Beacon Hill and the self guided after that. Still a good time and worth the time.

Our Downtown Freedom Trail Walking Tour is exactly that, which was and is an option. But with this tour, you also get to see both Beacon Hill and Back Bay, which includes their beautiful architecture, the Swan Boats in the Public Garden, Cheers, Newbury Street's boutiques, Commonwealth Avenue's townhomes and the Boston Marathon Commemorative in Copley Square.
