Overview
Spend three-hour on a guided, walking tour filled with culinary delights. You and a small-group (up to 12 people) will taste the freshest seafood food and some of the best Italian food in the country in a North End neighborhood of Boston. As you explore the colorful food scene, your guide will share the history of the area.
Highlights
  • Explore Boston’s charming North End on this food walking tour
  • Sample an array of classic New England and Italian-American dishes
  • Learn about Little Italy’s food and history from your guide
  • Enjoy an intimate, small-group Boston outing that is also family-friendly
What to Expect
Meet your guide at a central location in the North End, Boston’s historic Little Italy. Then, stroll with a small group of fewer than 12 people along the narrow streets of this charming city sampling its classic dishes. Kick things off with a lobster roll, a quintessential New England dish. From there, taste roasted nuts from a traditional shop, eat a sandwich with a recipe created in the country’s oldest public square, and visit a hole-in-the-wall pizzeria. Along the way, your guide shares interesting facts about where you stop and the foods you eat. You might, for example, savor a pizza slice while looking out upon the colonial church that was used to warn pilgrims of a British sea invasion during the American Revolution. Before your tour ends, stop in a public market to taste specialty sausage and sip a locally brewed craft beer or hard cider.
