The views are worth the money!
Would recommend this tour for first time travelers as the tour does cover a great bit! It was a good tour. Very interesting info. Very interactive with getting on and off the bus. I like that we just didn’t sit on the bus the whole time. Host was nice and friendly but just ok. A little more personality and a joke or two would keep the younger crowd more engaged. Voice a bit monotoned. This tour would get 5 stars if it would actually make a stop AT the Brooklyn bridge and let us walk on it. 😂

See NYC Christmas lights, learn some history and be comfortable!
Our guide John was terrific— full of stories and history of nyc. He was fun! It was great being driven around as we went to places all over the city which we would never have been able to see all of those Christmas lights on our own. Surprisingly we weren’t stuck in traffic other than the first 10 minutes. The driver Johnny knew what streets to take, etc. I highly recommend this tour to see NYC’s Christmas lights, learn some nyc history and be comfortable .

New York City is beautiful at night and a must see!
No matter how many times you see the city during the day it comes alive in a different way at night. The atmosphere, the lights, the different colours of the lighting. It is a must see. I say "Wow " so many times because it is so beautiful. It is like looking at a new place!

Van window dirty & HUGE sign blocked view. Guide forgot # in our group. Hard to hear hear & follow! No light!
Guide had one dark clothes. Had had a dark Santa. Hard to see it. Would be nice if he used his headphones and and gave us earbuds! We’ve had them for other tours! He really talked too much about bars!

We bought a 2 day ticket with Topview unlimited hop on, hop off tours under the impression that the Brooklyn and Statue of Liberty tours were included. However when we tried to go on those tours we were told our tickets didn't entitle us to do those. Pretty disappointing and we feel we were done over. However, we found that we could still see the statue of Liberty by going on the Statin Island ferry for free. Rode by quite close. That was good enough for us. The museum of the American Indian in the original Customs House is well worth a visit. Some exhibits are absolutely amazing. The Intrepid, a WW2 aircraft carrier is fascinating with a history well worth exploring. We spend a whole day on her.

An ace way to see the city and get endless information along the way!
This guided tour was wonderful and exactly what we wanted with only 4 days in NY. Our guide Lyonel was extremely knowledgeable, informative and friendly, providing information throughout the trip about all the areas we visited throughout NYC, ensuring we got great value from the tour. Manuel was an impressive driver and the coach was super comfortable. I highly recommend this tour to visit the main tourist highlights with great insight from your guide.

Excellent tour on a spectacular fall day
We had a fabulous day. The weather was perfect and the huge windows on the bus added to the experience. Vinny and his driver were excellent. We learned a lot on this tour. Had we not have to eat lunch at the pier instead of the market (due to a family of 5 from our group missing the ferry back so we had to wait an hour) I would have given 5 stars. Loved it!

      Great introduction to NY
We did the Discover NY tour, in a closed top bus. We cannot heap enough praise on Kevin Phinney, our guide. We generally avoid tours with guides, but Kevin gave us an entertaining day, full of human interest, with some facts along the way. He didn’t overload us with factual information, but if you wanted more, he could answer most questions. The day went really quickly, I can honestly say I was never bored. His approach is carefully thought through, and much of the time feels like it’s fresh, even though he must have done it a few times! I’ve been to NY many times, but it was my wife’s introduction. She loved it too. As an introduction to NY, this tour is a great start, as a basis for deciding what else you’d like to do with your time in the City.

Great way to explore New York and see the sites!
We took the 6 hour guided New York trip in the glass top van. There were 6 of us along with 5 other tourists. It's a smaller group tour. Our tour guide was Rachel and she was very friendly and definitely very knowledgeable about the New York sites, subway system and gave us great pointers, to help us during our trip. She gave us chances to take photos throughout the day. The glass top roof allowed for great views of the buildings. I definitely recommend this tour if you want to see alot of the sites in one day. You don't get out at every building or point of interest but you definitely see a lot!

      Fantastic city tour!
Rachel and Manny took fantastic care of us. I highly recommend this tour. Do it on your first day in the city! Rachel will fill you with history and tips from where to go, where to eat, and how to avoid the "hustle". We'll worth every penny you will spend on this tour.

New York with Jim & Juan
What a fantastic way to take in the city at night and have a native New Yorker share about the city he loves! Jim was an amazing guide and kept sharing stories and information throughout the tour. He was highly accommodating for all guests and made sure everyone enjoyed the tour. Loved the stops to see some of the familiar and new highlights of the area. I'd not heard of High Line Park - but what a cool piece of green space in the city! After a short time, it was as if we all had a new friend in NYC - strangers? fugedaboudid! 😁 And throughout it all, Juan guided us safely through the streets in the bus - avoiding traffic snares and keeping us close to our stops! Highly recommend!

NYC semi private tour. 5 stars. Fantastic tour guide.
Highly recommend this tour. Small group. Knowledgeable tour guide. The 4 hours flew by. Jimmy Hoffman did a fantastic job keeping us entertained. And let’s not forget the guides helper: the chicken. He kept the group together.

Planned this tour when my brother and his wife visited NY for 1st time It was perfect introduction to the city, the highlights over Manhattan. I enjoyed it myself even after several visits to NY I learned a lot The guide "J" Alan was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable had so many anecdotes I recommend the tour despite the price. I had a very bad experience with the Hop on Hop off bus tour in the past so this was perfect

Had a great tour with our guide Gil. Even my teenagers had a great time and learned a good amount from our tour. Not only was our tour fantastic and informative, Gil gave us some great pointers while in NY. Tour bus was nice and clean (not your open air buses you see all over NY) Would highly recommend this tour

Very comfortable and luxurious bus taking us expertly from sight to sight with stops at Central Park, 9/11 Memorial and 55 Fulton Market for lunch. Due to traffic on the day of our tour we weren’t able to stop at the Rockefeller Center; but did drive by and that was more than suitable.
This tour allowed us to briefly sample a number of key sights all in one day and was a great starting point for our trip to New York so then we knew what other sights we wanted to see on our own.
We enjoyed the Hornblower boat cruise with breathtaking views of the New York skyline and seeing the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from the water, although no reserved seating for the tour group – need to join the line along with everyone else and then hope you get a good spot on the boat.
I would recommend this tour as you cover more ground than you possibly could on your own and ticks some sights of your Must Do list in the comfort of a luxury air conditioned bus.

We enjoyed our bus tour, but we were VERY disappointed that there was no boat ride, as advertised. I see now on this site that it's listed as only April-Dec 31, but we do not remember that from when we booked via CheapTickets.com. The view of the Statue of Liberty from the shore (on non-boat months) is very disappointing. I feel like we did not get what we paid for.

That being said, our guide, Rachel, was nice. Very scripted, not a lot of time to ask questions but she gave LOTS of info. This would be a great starter tour for those who are staying the city for 1-2 weeks and don't have any idea where they want to visit. It's not a lot of time to explore anything, most stops were just 15 minutes. But we got pictures of some cool landmarks.

This was our first time in New York and so we wanted to book a tour that would allow us to see as much as possible, with a knowledgable tour guide to explain the sights. We were not disappointed!

We booked the open air/glass roof mini bus and would thoroughly recommend, it allows you so see so much more of the amazing skyline!

The itinerary had to change due to there being a parade on the day we booked, so lots of road closures. They handled this really well, changing up the route and giving us the opportunity to visit Highline Park and Chelsea Market instead!

A really enjoyable trip and a great way to see lots of the most famous sights all in one day!

I’ve been to NYC quite a few times, but it was my husbands first trip, and since it was just a 3 day stay we decided to do a tour to make the most of our time in the city. We had such a great experience! Our tour guide, Buster Freeze, was a delight!! Born in Londen but a true New Yorker at heart, he was an endless book of knowledge and adoration for the city and the people. The tour hit most of the major landmarks, with short stops at places like Central Park, Rockefeller Center and the World Trade Center. By taking the bus, we were able to cover so much of Manhattan in such a short time. We took the Ferry to Staten Island, which really gives you a “true New York feel” just being among the commuters, and it gives you a pretty sweet shot of the Statue of Liberty. Our driver, Izzy, was cool + calm, and if you’ve ever been in a car in NYC can you even imagine driving a bus? No, thanks. But, I felt safe the whole trip with him behind the wheel.
Long story short: I ABSOLUTELY recommend spending the $100ish bucks to to take this tour, and if you do it near the beginning of your trip it’ll give you loads of help planning what you want to do next.

We had a tour booked with USA Guided Tours and we didn’t know what to expect as you hear many stories of lack of knowledge, to many stops, not enough time and no personality of the tour guide. We were so pleased and had a fabulous time with our tour guide Gil who was without a shadow of a doubt the best tour guide we have ever had on any tour. He was knowledgeable, keen to take questions, very humorous and generous. We were guided on a fabulous journey in extreme comfort on board a private bus, Gil was engaging from the off. He took us to all the places we were eager to see and gave us all the information we could ever have needed. When we were on the way to that Statue of Liberty 🗽 Gil offered to take pictures of all the people on the tour and again this was done at the John Lennon Memorial in Central Park. We also stopped for lunch in Little Italy 🇮🇹 (followed by Dunkin Donuts 🍩) again Gil knew all the places to get a bite to eat, we didn’t feel rushed through lunch which was again brilliant. If you are interested in doing a tour of NYC in a day then I would without a shadow of doubt recommend booking through this tour operator and hopefully you will get Gil as your guide, you won’t be disappointed in any way.

Rachel our guide, was very professional and fun. The day went quickly and we saw or had pointed out to us all the main highlights of NY. Rachel was a font of knowledge imparting stories of the history of different sites and buildings.
The only disappointment seemed to be the lack of a trip to see Lady Liberty up close as it couldn’t be worked into our schedule which was unfortunate as I’ve read on here a review that another tour on the same day did have the boat tour.
Rachel thank you, you were brilliant and your sidekick, the driver Anthony, was very good getting to stop where we needed to which in NY is a little tricky!

From welcoming on Board, to departing and arriving back to the city centre the tour is something I would recommend to anyone who would like to visit what NYC had to offer in a quick tour

Our guide (Gil) was so friendly, courteous and had an incredible in-depth knowledge of the city and history.

From visiting the rockfella centre Xmas tree, to walk at the Central Park, to visiting the Liberty statue, WTC, valuable info of the city - the tour was just top notch, a def value for money and highly recommended.

Only feedback is to increase the lunch break from 30 mins to 45 mins, the restaurants are so busy that you would end up waiting and hurrying up for your breakie (tough I understand it’s a rush rush on the clock tour). Lol.

I had Jimmy (Brooklyn) and AnTONY (driver) and this was a great day. Saw all the sights and then went back later to explore on my own. Jimmy loves his city with a well earned cynicism and humour that had the guests laughing all day. He was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone on the tour was enjoying themselves.

The bus was clean and they had plenty of free water. There was a screen at the front of the bus so you could view 360 degrees as you drove in air conditioned bus. Plenty of stops to get out and walk around.

This may appear a bit more expensive than some of the other tours but I thought it was well worth it. My thoughts were solidified later in the evening when I heard another company guide telling a Dad with some tired children the next hop on was an hour wait in the heat......

    Great tour.
