Overview

Enjoy biking at a leisurely pace, while traveling on a 6-mile (9.6-kilometer) route in New York’s Central Park on this small-group guided tour. It’s easy to lose your bearings in the park’s 840 acres (340 hectares) if you don’t know where you’re going. This tour allows you to see main highlights of the park with a guide who keeps you on track the whole way.

What to Expect

Your Central Park biking tour meets within the park. Check in with your voucher and get matched with a bike and helmet for this guided tour.

Follow your guide through the park on a 6-mile (9.6 kilometer) route that passes famous landmarks and hidden hot spots. Some points of interest include Bethesda Fountain, Strawberry Fields, Jackie Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, and the Dakota, where John Lennon lived. Other lesser-known areas include Cleopatra's Needle, Sheep Meadow, Shakespeare Garden, and Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater.

Your guide keeps you on track as your group bikes at a comfortable pace for all skill levels. Stop and take pictures at the highlights, and listen as your guide dives into the park’s history.

This biking tour ends back at the original meeting spot. Turn in your helmet and your bike, and head out in NYC with the rest of the day’s plans in your hands.

We took the small group Central Park tour with Ross who was nice, caring and extremely knowledgeable. The only slight negative (for us) was that we would have liked more celebrity and film location information. (The carousel used in Now you See Me was not...More
