During the evening, your guide takes you around the city to spots known for their ghostly activity, and tells you stories and folklore about the area. Learn about Peter Stuyvesant, who served as the last Dutch director-general of the colony before it was renamed New York. Other famous people’s history you’ll hear about include Edgar Allan Poe, August Belmont, Joe Papp, Washington Irving, Samuel Clemens, and Harry Houdini. Along the way, you might even see a ghost or two.
