- karenaO2645IU0 contributionsSuch a beautiful show!! The music is fantastic!!I have read the book, and seen the movie multiple times, but the musical brings a new dimension to this story. Soooooo beautifully done! Maryanne Plunkett's portrayal of Allie was so touching! All of the actors were amazing and their voices were divine! My daughters were hooked on the soundtrack before we went and now I listen to it all the time. Sad to hear this show is leaving Broadway in Dec, but glad to hear it will be going on tour. It is a must see!Written September 30, 2024
- karenaO2645IU0 contributionsAmazing!!!!!WOW!!!! Amazing cast!! Unbelievable sets, gorgeous costumes, and the entire experience was absolutely terrific!!!! The choreography is amazing and I can't wait to see it again. I dearly hope this show will start a national tour!!Written September 30, 2024
- Yolanda28020 contributionsExtraordinary!Delightful, powerful, moving and motivating musical of the fight for women’s suffrage in the US. Incredible voices, beautiful lyrics and music. Most important at this time as so many freedoms are in jeopardy. Understanding the trials, tribulations and torture Alice Paul and others experienced to gain the right to vote should make any female NEVER miss the opportunity to vote.Written September 30, 2024

- BMiller20130 contributionsMuseum of Broadway is a HitIf you love Broadway shows and want to get more information on the history of Broadway, the Museum of Broadway is the place to go. Not only does it share the rich history, but it also allows for interactive opportunities in many shows such as The Lion King, Rent, Wicked, Hamilton, Phantom of the Opera, Six and so many more. The tour consists of 3 floors (elevator available if needed) of dazzling costumes and props. Located at 145 W 45th St. Adult admission is $39.Written September 27, 2024
- Adrianne W0 contributionsBest Ever! This performance was phenomenal and I can’t wait to see it again. I hope they bring it to Dallas so that I can take my husband and neighbors with me. The best performance of all the musicals and plays that I’ve seen.Written September 26, 2024

- 291lirap0 contributionsA Hidden Jewel of a Museum especially if you love Theatre.A Hidden Jewel. Two hours was not enough time. So much to see. The staff was most helpful and proud of their museum that opened during Covid.Written September 22, 2024
- oleperfesser0 contributionsNothing to see here; move alongAimed at Gen Z (or at least its more "woke" members), this is an over-amped, underwhelming musical featuring pop tunes that fans of Katy Perry and NSync might find enjoyable, but more mature audiences won't. It's also divisive: there are no male characters who are painted sympathetically. Even Romeo is a "douche" (their word, not mine), and Will Shakespeare is not a genius but a selfish, thoughtless, neglectful husband and absentee father. The Gen Z audience tends to whoop and applaud when the female characters tell the males off and use obscenity just like guys do; there's also a trans romance that wins cheers; it's all so very post-modern and hip. Just not very good. Lots of mediocre performances by people "thrilled to be making their Broadway debuts." You will be less thrilled.Written September 20, 2024
- Sightseer379006911720 contributionsRecommend a visitWhen I booked our hotel I had no idea the Museum of Broadway was almost next door. We knew the Museum was on our to do list and was pleasantly surprised at its location . We all loved the museum but like others think it could have been better organized . The Museum needs more docents and actors providing little asides about the gossip behind the curtains . In our entire time at the museum only one employee gave us an inside story behind several plays and the actors lives . This is what museum attendees want to hear . He was very knowledgeable and he was always sought out answering questions and offering insight . I hope the museum can get better organized maybe a larger location . The gift shop did have a very nice variety of gifts to buy . The Museum has to be interesting enough so people will come back over and over as exhibits and docents change . I would definitely come back .Written September 18, 2024
- LucE7270 contributionsAverage at best.I absolutely do not understand the loads of positive feedback for this musical. The storyline is ultra-thin, acting and singing average at best and dancing on a level expected to see at a schools play. Music consists of pop songs, so no songs written exclusively for this musical. Cast is extremely enthousiastic, but for a broadway show you may expect more than that. We got the tickets at 50 prct discount. Enough places empty at the sunday matinee show. Reaction of the public was very mixed...in contrast to the other broadway shows I saw last week (at McNeal and Chicago the audience went wild). See this musical if you Just want to enjoy listening to popular songs with average dancing. Do not see this musical if you expect original songs, professional performance and a great story line.Written September 16, 2024
- mariedesjardins0 contributionsExcellent performance of the Notebook on BroadwayIronically it was a very rainy night when trying to reach the theatre. The theatre was beautiful. The actors did a wonderful job of bringing this classic to life on Broadway.Written September 14, 2024

The worst experience I’ve ever had in a theater. Showed up with tickets in hand to a show 30 minutes early. Parked the car for $50, tickets were $200 after ridiculous fees no taxes (I bought 4 for my family.. 2 adults and 2 kids). They would not let us in because the kids were under 4 years old. My kids were crying standing on the sidewalk in the freezing cold wanting to see the show and the staff couldn’t give a damn. No refund because the tickets were purchased through a third party.. so no show and no refund. I was livid. Never paying these scam artist another dollar and I don’t recommend you to either. NYC and Broadway will never be the same again. Disgrace.

This was one of my favorite Broadway shows of the last ten years. Michael James Scott as the Genie was an awesome performance. There are too many people to name one by one but they were all terrific. The singing, costumes, the scenery and the lighting all contributed to a wonderful afternoon. I highly recommend this show and am considering going back for an encore.

What a fantastic show! The adaptation from the Disney animated film was well done, with some minor changes that helped the story work on the stage. This was an ideal first Broadway show for my daughter. She was literally on the edge of her seat. The theater is gorgeous. Time saving tip: there are some concessions sold at the coat check -- with no or almost no line.

I’ve seen several shows in NYC like the Lion King, Wicked, Spider-Man just to name a few and I would alway say the nothing topped Wicked. That is until now. My hands down FAVORITE SHOW is Aladdin! Bravo!!!!

Where do you suggest to buy the tickets ? What’s the most reliable website and how does it work, do I need to print out the ticket/collect it at the ticket office/show it on my cell phone?
Written December 28, 2022
You can purchase on ticketmaster website (reliable website for event tickets). You will be allowed to save in your phone apple/google wallet and scan at the entrance as on option. This is what we had done.

It depends on how much you want to spend. You can get very affordable seats that are very high up, but still have a great view of the show. They will inform you if a seat has partial views when you purchase a ticket. The easiest thing to do is to select “best seats” as the filter if you buy your tickets through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster also offers you a 360 view of the seat before you finalize the purchase. The best view in my opinion is Row AA of the Mezzanine, but beware that ticket is $200+. And try to select a seat towards the middle (center of the stage) instead of the sides. The orchestra depends on what row you select. Rows A-C are too close to the stage. Anything past Row L is too far. Also be aware that it can be hard to see if you have taller people in front of you and you are seating in the Orchestra section. For more affordable prices select the Balcony. The seats in the Balcony are kind of like on steps so you don’t really have to worry about the people in front of you blocking your view.
The show is beautiful and fun, and you will be able to enjoy no matter where you sit.
