Highlights
  • See more of New Orleans on an air-conditioned coach tour
  • Visit historic and charming city neighborhoods in just a couple of hours
  • Learn about New Orleans history and legends from your guide
  • Great Big Easy introduction for first-time visitors and those short on time
What to Expect
Board a comfortable air-conditioned coach at a convenient meeting point in the French Quarter, the historic heart of New Orleans. See famous landmarks such as Jackson Square, the Cabildo and Presbytere museums, and the Pontalba buildings while learning about the city’s French, Spanish, Creole, and American heritage. Venture outside of the French Quarter to the banks of Bayou St. John, once the site of voodoo rituals and a notorious pirate waterway used by Jean Lafitte. Visit one of New Orleans’ so-called “cities of the dead,” St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, to see unusual above-ground burial practices. Follow the route of the historic St. Charles streetcar to the leafy avenues and southern-style mansions of the Garden District, and then cruise past the campuses of Tulane and Loyola universities that border the Audubon Zoo. This tour also includes time to take a self-guided tour through the Bestoff Sculpture Garden, and a refreshment stop at Cafe du Monde for beignets or other treats (own expense.) The tour concludes where it began in the French Quarter.

This was a great trip. She shares information about places, and areas. She took us through the community - amazing old architecture - and homes of famous people and aristocrats and their homes. We went to the cemetery. New Orleans has so much history. It was a great tour!
