Overview
Walking is a great way to get to know New Orleans’ French Quarter and its seemingly endless historical attractions. On this New Orleans walking tour, stroll down cobbled avenues to top Big Easy sights, such as the French Market, Louis Armstrong Park, and Jackson Square—all while learning about the city’s rich history from your guide.
What to Expect
After meeting your guide at a central location in the French Quarter, set off for a stroll through New Orleans’ most popular district. Follow your guide to some of the neighborhood’s interesting attractions, while listening to fun facts about New Orleans history along the way.

Stroll along the Mississippi River, down to the French Market, past Ursuline Convent, and into Jackson Square.

Then, visit a Creole courtyard and quadroon ballroom—generally closed to the public—for a unique chance to learn about the complexity of Creole culture and New Orleans’ past.

After 2 miles (3.2 kilometers), your New Orleans walking tour concludes near the original departure point.

Great 5 PM French Quarter History Tour

This is one of the best tours I've ever taken! New Orleans has so many stories that need some time with an expert. The twilight time is make the French Quarter look great.
