Great First Day in Town Experience!
This tour is a great introduction to New Orleans, and an easy way to visit #3 Cemetery. I toured with my 3 teen grandkids, who found it really helpful to get an overview of New Orleans on our first full day in town. We appreciated that there were only 12-13 other people on the tour, so it was easy to hear the tour guide speak.

      Worth It
The guide was so informative. It was obvious that Wes loves his city and loves his job. We were allowed to visit a private cemetery with open tombs (they were empty) that made it so much easier to understand the burial process. But Wes’s knowledge wasn’t limited to cemeteries. He explained the different types of architecture in the different parts of town and why the green house is falling down. 10 out 10 would recommend.

      Highly Highly Recommend!
Terrific tour! Our guide, Scott, was incredibly knowledgeable and fun - I learned a lot about the area history, best places to eat and/or listen to good music, museums to visit, and the community as a whole. The stops at the cemetery and Cafe DuMonde were the perfect addition to the tour. Thanks so much for a great experience!

Fun, Scenic, Yummy, and Educational Tour
Our guide was so fun! She had great details and stories about all the places we passed during the bus tour. She was super knowledgeable about the cemetery we visited as well. We stopped to walk around in a gorgeous park and had beignets and coffee at an iconic shop. This was a great all-around experience. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Good tour once you get past the lack of direction after check-in.
Bon’s was a great spot to check in and wait as they have lots of food and drinks for purchase and you can take adult beverages on the bus. DJ was knowledgeable and the bus was nice and cool. We saw many residential areas, landmarks, stopped at a cemetery, and an out of the way Dumondes for Beignets (there was no line!) and a potty break. I only gave it 4 stars because at check-in there was no clear direction as to where we were to wait or what we were supposed to do. Everyone was confused and it was very chaotic. After boarding it became a pleasant experience.

      Not a Brunch Crawl
We spent 1.5 hours in a basement with no windows of the meeting point, Bon's Street Food. While there we sampled food 1. Gumbo 2. Muffelatta and fried green tomato 3. Red beans and rice 4. Beignet and Cala. The food was all excellent. Drinks, the "tour" started with a Mimosa in the basement, and ended with a Hurricane while we finally meandered throughout the French quarter for a 1/2 hour. The tour guide was knowledgeable, but the experience was not as described or a brunch crawl in any way.

The tour guides by Carolyn was very informative and interesting. She was able to add her personal touch while pointing out some very unique features about specific houses and about the neighborhood. This area of the city is very different than the French Quarter and we learned a lot

Ron was a very well prepared guide and obviously enjoys the history and architecture of the homes. Two straight hours in 82 degree heat (cannot imagine July and August) is tough on anyone. Maybe a 10 minute stop at the Rink would let people get a drink, cool off, and use the restroom. Most of us will forget a lot of the history, but would appreciate the break.

Tyler was our guide who was prompt and on time. He was funny, informative, and his family had 200 years of new orleans history. He enjoyed giving the tour which always makes a big difference. His tour not only included lits of architectural knowledge of the houses, but history, who either lived or does live there etc. We will when we come back do other tours with him.

Wasn’t sure about this type of tour since we don’t usually do city tours. This was really fun and informative tour of the garden district. Orion went out of his way to make sure everyone was engaged and added a some personal anecdotes that helped make a rainy day brighter. The pace was good and the sights chosen were all unique and interesting. Fun fact, not a lot of gardens in the garden district!

Ron was an absolutely amazing tour guide! He was passionate about New Orleans history and knew so much about different types of architecture, who built the homes, tidbits and stories about the people who owned and built the homes, and upkeep and who owned the homes now. He traveled with photographs to show as the tour went on as well. He was a great person to spend the afternoon with!

Tyler was by far the best tour guide we had all week. He did a great job of explaining the history of the Garden District, Mardi Gras and the cemetery without sounding like we were reading a text book. His first hand knowledge and great personality made the tour very interesting. He ended the tour by ensuring everyone knew where they were and recommended places to eat and other things to do in the area. This is a must do tour. Remember to request Tyler.

D.J was a great tour guide! We learned a lot, and with so much information he still made it fun and interesting and we even got great food recommendations. The garden district is so beautiful, we saw so many houses that belong to celebrities or that were featured in major films, and also got to see some of Lafayette cemetery no.1. It was a great experience and me and my boyfriend both enjoyed ourselves!
