    What to Expect
Your 5-hour sightseeing adventure begins and ends at downtown Skagway. Get behind the steering wheel of a spacious Hummer H3 SUV, and set off after your guide in the lead vehicle. Your guide will share with you with tales of the Klondike Gold Rush era via an interactive, two-way radio system.

Set out in comfort into the Yukon Territory, retracing the famous routes — including the Trail of '98 — taken by the hardy gold prospectors in the late 1800's. Experience the beauty of Skagway and the Yukon Territory away from the crowds, as you discover destinations such as Dead Horse Gulch, Bracket Wagon Trail, Tormented Valley, Moore Bridge, and Pitchfork Falls.

See the historic village of Carcross, named after the narrow caribou crossing at the headwaters of the mighty Yukon River. After a break, pass through The World’s Smallest Desert before you come upon the vivid turquoise water of Emerald Lake.

Relax with an Alaskan-style snack, and then hear about Jefferson Randolph ‘Soapy’ Smith, a notorious outlaw, during the return drive to Skagway.

Please note: This tour crosses an international border, so you must bring your passport and driver’s license.

This was a really fun way to explore beyond the port of Skagway and experience the rugged wilderness of the Yukon by way of the Klondike Highway. The H3's are comfortable and well suited for the drive - which, except for a few scenic turnouts,...More

We had 6 hours of sightseeing on our tour due to a slow start in the rain. The weather cleared up about an hour in though. While the tour guide didn't say much over the radio, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I loved being...More

We took a 2:00 tour. We didn’t get back to the pier until a little after 7:00. We didn’t have to be aboard until 8:00 so it worked for us.

There are no roads in or out of Juneau, so you will have to either fly or take a cruise ship.
