Highlights
    What to Expect
Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula offers some of the most scenic and challenging river rafting in North America. On the 3-Canyon run of Sixmile Creek, you and a group of friends will be tested as you navigate this river runner’s dream, descending more than 50 feet per mile as the creek thunders its way down from the Chugah Mountains.

Meet just outside of Hope at either 9:00am or 2:00pm, depending on which time you choose. After arriving at the facility, you will be fitted with a life jacket, helmet, and paddle and go through a brief orientation to ensure you stay safe while on the water.  Then it’s time to climb into your raft and start the fun. Each group will be joined by a seasoned, veteran river guide who will help direct you across the roaring whitewater and thundering rapids as you make your way through the three scenic canyons.

The trip will cut through old-growth forest filled with abundant wild life including deer, salmon, and even black bears. Not that you’ll notice as you make your way through one pounding rapid after another. The difficulty steadily increases as you progress further down the canyon toward rapids with names like "Staircase," "Suckhole," "Merry-Go-Round" and "Jaws". This Class V adventure will challenge even veteran rafters to pay attention and paddle hard to keep the boat pointed in the right direction. Soaked, worn-out and satisfied, you and your group will be transported back to facility where you can recap the fun and share stories of your whitewater adventure.

Fun times. Not super insane/crazy but not for weaklings. If you want an adrenaline rush then do this! Neil, Archie , Popcorn and the others were great and thorough. Did the class V with my 78 year old dad and felt like we were in safe hands.

We did the Three Canyon run and had an absolute blast! Our guide Gumby was fun and extremely knowledgeable about both this river and rafting in general. We were concerned at first about the "swim test" however it is really just to make sure you are comfortable in the water

Highly recommend - they are thorough when it comes to the details of the dry suits, the raft, safety instructions, paddling commands, visual commands, capsizing instructions - by the time you hit the water, you have everything you need to know to have a fun filled time flying

The river was amazing, but the guides’ knowledge was just as impressive as the water itself! All of the guides had worked on the 6 Mile for several years at least, and their experience showed. Our guide, Gumby, was clear and concise when guiding us through the rapids, and it was

I did this on one of the days when the water was running high and fast, and I'm so glad I did it! James was our guide and I could not have asked for a better one! So, do not kids yourself, these are some SERIOUS class 5 rapids! The amount of training I had before, and during
