Experience a performance by the Tabernacle Choir and take a sightseeing tour of Salt Lake City. During the tour, view top city attractions, such as the Utah State Capitol building and the Mormon Pioneer Trail. Following that, enjoy a performance by the Tabernacle Choir. Tours are scheduled around either an evening rehearsal on Thursday or a concert on Sunday morning.
What to Expect
After hotel pickup, begin your guided sightseeing tour at the Utah State Capitol. From there, head to the Mormon Pioneer Trail, a historical route walked by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as This is the Place Heritage Park.
Other stops include Temple Square, Fort Douglas, National Pony Express Monument, and 2002 Winter Olympic venues.
The tour ends with a performance by the Tabernacle Choir. Choose either an evening rehearsal on Thursday or a concert on Sunday morning. The performance is held either at the LDS Conference Center or the Salt Lake Tabernacle in Temple Square. Those on the Thursday tour dine at Brigham Young’s pioneer home (own expense) before the rehearsal, and on Sunday, lunch is served after the concert (own expense).
At the end of the tour, you are returned to your hotel.

Tabernacle Choir was awesome

Hit all the major highlights of the city. Very comfortable bus and friendly happy driver/tour guide. Keep in mind there is 60 minute stop for dinner on the late afternoon tour (Thursday) and check out their food review.

Highlight of trip - And I'm not LDS

Stopped in for an open rehearsal after business. Highly recommended if you can catch a rehearsal with the orchestra.

Nice overview of Salt Lake City

A personable guide made the tour very informative and interesting. The visit to the state capital coincided with sunset, so the photo ops were superb. A chance to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir practice inside their hallowed Tabernacle made the tour a 5 star adventure.
