About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Connie T0 contributionsDon’t miss this tour!We wanted a chance to see the Rocky Mountain National Park. The jeep tour was the perfect way to see it! Our guide, Fritz, was amazing and made sure that all five of us had a great experience.Written October 29, 2024
- Amy H0 contributionsGreat experience all around! This was a beautiful experience, highly recommend. Tour guide Fritz was kind, knowledgeable, funny, accommodating, and just all around enjoyable. Got to do a mini hike, saw waterfalls, wildlife, and gorgeous mountain views. Jeep was comfy and plenty of room.Written October 27, 2024
- Carey g0 contributionsToo chilly for meThis late in October I would skip the morning tour. It’s just too cold and the wind blows through the open jeep that makes it hard to warm up. They did offer blankets and floor heaters on one side of the jeep. We were hoping to see some more wildlife, but only spotted two elk. Our tour guide was pleasant and did provide some good stories. My advice for the owner would be to ask your customers if they would like the plexiglass windows up instead of assuming they do not. Could have made for a much more comfortable ride.Written October 21, 2024
- HollyCAmeliaIsland0 contributionsSave Your Money, Skip This One.We booked the "Waterfall Hiking Tour" thinking we would be going somewhere that was not as easily accessible by car and/or not crowded since the word “secluded” was used twice in the description: “take a ride to a secluded area of Rocky Mountain National Park. You will then hike 2+ miles to a secluded waterfall.” It was neither. We went to Bear Lake and Alberta Falls, both of which you can easily get to by riding the park shuttle or driving yourself and both of which we had been to multiple times before, which we told our guide. When I questioned why we were going to these locations, our guide said he really didn’t have the time to go elsewhere or he would be late for his next tour. This was not his but the Green Jeep Tour company’s fault for scheduling their tour groups much too close together. Perhaps one of their other tours would be better, but we were really dissappointed in this one, esp. at approx. $100 per person. Save your money and skip this one.Written October 14, 2024
- Traveltime700 contributionsFantastic Tour!Driving up the mountain is not an easy task, and the driver/guides do an amazing job. It is a great way to enjoy the mountain without trying to focus on the road.Written September 17, 2024

- MongooseTravel0 contributionsExcellent trip up Rocky National Park!We decided to take the jeep tour up Rocky National Park and we are so glad we did. Our tour guide was fantastic she really took the time to show us wildlife and waterfalls. This was a great experience that we didn’t have to worry about driving up the mountain . - sharoncM2317YH0 contributionsExtremely EnjoyableWe had a superb experience with Sam and Green Jeep Tours. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Rocky Mountain National Park, the wildlife, Estes Park, and restaurant recommendations. He was an excellent driver as he took us over Fall River Road and Trail Ridge Mountain Road. We took the 3 to 3 and a half hour tour at 9:30 AM and were lucky enough to see quite a few elk. They are just so majestic. I would recommend this tour company, and I would recommend asking for Sam.Written August 23, 2024
- Brice S0 contributionsFritz is the man!!!Fritz was great!!!! He clearly has a lot of knowledge of the area and took great group photos for us. He lets you get out and explore a little along the way unlike other tour groups. We really enjoyed our trip. Saw 5 moose and 10 elk among many other great sites. Highly recommended Green Jeep Tours and Fritz as your guide!Written August 5, 2024
- allisonkellyb0 contributionsGreat Family Fun!We went on the 5:30 Jeep Tour - The Roky Mountain Safari and so enjoyed it! Prior to going, we had already been on Trail Ridge Road (the paved portion) and hiked the 5 Lakes, and this tour was perfect for seeing areas we had not visited yet. Our kids' biggest goal was to see wildlife....and we did! We saw FOUR moose, elk, marmots, and deer!Written July 22, 2024
- peggyf4830 contributionsDon't Miss The Rocky Mountain Safari Tour!My husband and I did the 3 hour Rocky Mountain Safari tour of Rocky Mountain National National Park. We chose the morning tour that started at 9:30 am because parking in Estes Park, where the tour begins, is less congested in the morning. Our guide, Max, was outstanding! He was pleasant and knowledgable, and pointed out many animal sightings, as well as relating the history and geography of the park. The open air jeep seats 7 people and was comfortable and conducive to picture taking. Three hours was just the right amount of time. The company was excellent to interact with in all respects. The experience from booking to the end of the tour could not have been better.Written July 6, 2024
- savannahmM4900VW0 contributionsBeautiful tour-Bear LakeMax was our tour guide. He made the tour very fun and enjoyable. He waited a couple extra minutes in hopes of us seeing a moose and it paid off! Very fun experience with beautiful scenery. Max was very knowledgeable of the area. He was also great engaging in conversation with our daughters. Great experience for the whole family. 10/10 would recommend and would go again!!Written July 3, 2024
- FellowTraveler7080510 contributionsS’mores and sunsetWe had a wonderful evening, journey up the mountain to roast hotdogs and s’ mores and take amazing sunset pictures. We can’t say enough about Aaron, our driver and guide, who taught us about the history of Estes Park and about the local nature. His professionalism and sense of humor made this event special. Exciting travel back down the mountain in the dark. Best time!Written June 16, 2024
- KymW740 contributionsAmazing way to see the park!We had a BLAST with Chris on our 4.5 hour Rocky Mountain National Park tour! He was funny, knowledgeable and engaging, and it was so fun to see the park from the open-air jeep. HIGHLY recommend when you are in Estes!Written June 13, 2024
