  • 45-min guided tours are offered throughout the day from 10am-4pm
  • Wheelchair accessible

  • Please arrive onsite 45 minutes prior to your underground departure time
  • The underground tour is NOT WHEELCHAIR or STROLLER accessible. The rest of our site is.
  • Due to restricted tour sizes we recommend booking your tour time in advance. We cannot guarantee availability unless it is booked in advance.
  • For groups over 5 please call the museum directly at 1-800-896-4044 ext 226 to make a booking
  • Masks are required while on the Underground Tour. They are recommended but not required on the rest of the site
  • Please do not visit if you are showing any signs of Covid-19 symptoms
  • Most travellers can participate
  • To access the underground train tour you will need to climb 48 stairs

First time visiting here, we travelled with my 2-year-old son, we love the train and underground tour, my son is okay (he loves the train part only lol since he’s too young to understand the mineral thing). The Boom! show is awesome!

We have driven past dozens of times but went back yesterday to see what the changes have been. Britannia Mine Museum added' 'Zoom' a great movie that puts it all together at the end of the tour. Fun to be far underground and have the 'miner' experience. Good Value!

Very educational to learn the history on the mine ,lot to see and learn amazing the museum well keep and a lot place to see ,the little short train ride is fun ! we were little worry about the current pandemic , but i am very happy to say the management did a fabulous job
