Full day snorkelling tour to Kisite Marine Park with Wasini Island seafood lunch
US$130.00
Overview
Snorkel Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park on a full-day cruise aboard a traditional dhow sailboat with two snorkel stops on the pristine marine park's beautiful coral reef. It’s common to spot dolphins and turtles as you cruise through Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park, and the day includes a light breakfast, a Swahili-style seafood lunch, and free-flowing drinks on scenic Wasini Island.
What to Expect
Meet a driver at your hotel for transfer to Shimoni fishing village, where you’ll board a dhow sailboat for the trip to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park.

Enjoy Kenyan coffee, tea, and morning snacks on the boat, watching for dolphins, turtles, whale sharks, and humpback whales on the 40-minute crossing. Snorkeling equipment will be provided, as well as life jackets or in-the-water help from snorkeling guides, if desired. Two 45-minute snorkeling stops give you time to take in the remarkable wildlife that thrives on the coral reefs here, with large shoals of fish, moray eels, stingrays, and more.

Following your time in the water, head to Wasini Island for a seafood lunch of fresh-caught crab and fish, served with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. After lunch, relax by the beach or in the garden then begin the return sail to shore, where a driver will meet you for transfer to your hotel.

Beautiful coral reefs

In the introduction of Swahili Beach Resort Hotel, I applied for a day trip by Dow ship to Washini Island. I left the hotel at 7 o'clock and took an hour and a half to Shimoni by car. On the way,...More
