The food that we had here was amazing! Probably the best food we have had so far in India. Alongside this the host was great, he organised paragliding, quad bikes and camel riding for us. Each of which was an incredible experience and very fairly priced. Although we didn’t stay here, the accommodation looks perfect, nice relaxed private hoots in the desert. I will definitely be adding this on to places I want to revisit in India and hopefully spend more time here.

A truly unique experience from the Ketassar family! Being integrated as a guest into their family and life - sitting in the kitchen and seeing the homegrown food turned into delicacies. Drinking masala chai on the patio. Having a good laugh with their adorable children, helping out according to age. Seeing the lush vegetable fields with all their crops in the surroundings. Visiting the arid landscape bearing witness to the strenuous life it was before. Going through the small villages and being greeted with warm curiosity. Going for an overnight trek with camels, sleeping in the desert.

The Osian Camel Safari and Village Home Stay is sure to give you an experience of a lifetime. This place is roughly 60-70 kms from Jodhpur and will only take about 90 minutes to reach. They have these beautiful looking huts where they arrange the stay with modern and clean washrooms. One can sit or lie-down on the bed in the open and watch the stars as the sky is always clear at Osian. Jeep Ride is a thrilling experience and is super exciting. Camel Ride is at leisure and not like the 5 minutes ride at Jaisalmer. You can witness the most beautiful sunset from this place. Local food is made by the family as per your taste - blend or spicy and is absolutely free delicious. Service is simply top class and I will recommend this to all families or groups. All this at less than half the cost of what you would otherwise pay in Jaisalmer.

The jeep safari and the camel ride are totally worth it. The homecooked authentic village food was unbeatable. A very pleasant experience overall!

It was a fantastic tour with the host Mr. Rajesh Jat right from pick-up and drop back to Jodhpur..we visited the sanchai mata Temple enroute and then went on Camels to their farm house where we were given a room to rest after a fabulous & delicious local lunch…around 5:30 pm we walked through their farms and saw peacocks and finally returned back to Jodhpur after sunset.

The camel Safari was really nice and calm, a nice break from the noisy cities. Afterwards we had a Jeep Safari to a very beautuful view Point to watch the sunset. The dinner Was made by the family themselves and tasted very good. We were even allowed to take some of the freshly harvested peanuts. The Guide and his family were very warm and friendly. The only Thing that could have been netter was that the driver who picked us up in jodhpur spoke only a very basic english, which made the communication during the drive from jodhpur a little difficult.

Recommended by our Hotel in Jodhpur and to our surprise this was the best part of our Jodhpur trip. Raju Bhai and his family are super friendly hosts. We had amazing desert sand dunes safari, followed by long camel ride watching sunset. The party ended with some authentic and delicious home cooked dinner including Ker-Sangri, Gatta Sabji, some spicy chutney, Kadhi, Bajra Bhakri and rice!!

Awesome time, we rode camels we rode on a wild Jeep ride up and down the sand dunes. Then we had some of the best Indian food! Raj was great! The experience was booked through our hostel and it included a garden tour a temple experience then camels then Jeep ride then home cooked dinner! We had a great time and made some new lifelong friends!

Amazing welcoming !! The food is great, the place, the family, everything. The best part is that they really take care of the camels and you can see they are super healthy and that they love Raj. Highly recommend!!

Whole experience with the crew was truly amazing. Starting with the camel ride then a long jeep ride to the main desert area. We had home made dinner which was very tasty. I can recommend everyone and anyone travelling to visit jodhpur 110% .

We had a great time at Osian Village Safari Tour. We were able spend plenty of time enjoying both Jeep and Camel saferi, followed by a romantic sunset. And the dinner under the stars was exceptional. Tastiest food we had in Rajastan and one of the most beautiful sky I have ever seen. The host Raj and his family were joyful, friendly, polite and humble. Place is good for everyone, couples, bunch of friends or family with kids. We would have definitely stayed overnight if it wasn't for our tight schedule. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone looking for a wonderful night to remember.
