Lovely food. The place was so busy but we weren't able to buy drinks from the bar. There were two ladies taking all the orders and getting drinks at the same time! The line extended out of the door and many people have up. The...More

You can get a marvelous view of Adelaide by night from the summit of Mount Lofty, the lights of the city seem to spread out everywhere. It's not all that far from the centre of Adelaide. Best way to get there is by car.

Driving back to Adelaide from pretty little Hahndorf, we decided to try the Mt Lofty Summit and scenic drive. Well, we won’t bother again. The drive is treed out completely, and you have to pay in a car park then walk the rest of the...More

You have to pay to park at the summit car park. We saw a Kuala sleeping in a tree in the car park. Its free to wonder around the viewing area. Good views of the city.

We seldom come to the Summit these days to look at the view, but we are fairly regular patrons of the café. The positives here are the easy parking and the great range of cake – a good combination for those who enjoy their coffee...More

Great spot to see the skyline of Adelaide from a distance. Cafe at the summit is decent except a little on the pricey side but understandable given the location. Well worth doing some of the hiking trails that surround the summit.

What a view over the city of Adelaide. Nice history of the obelisk on show and well done with information signs. Good photo opportunities and saw many tourists enjoying our “small” city! We took time to stop for coffee and cake and thought this would...More

Amazing view especially during sunset. The hike is painful but the view around the forest is beautiful. You can see koalas!

Arrived as the sun was setting and then waited until the lights of Adelaide came on. A very special view of the city even though it was very very cold. But it was well worth the wait.
