best is to go in the early morning when there is the most activity. Nice to see how many people are cleaning their fishes while lot of birds (mainly maraboes) are walking in between the people.

You visit this place to take some pictures It’s will not take you more than Half an hour you will see the birds and take some nice pictures If didn’t go you will miss nothing

Interesting to see the young boys cleaning the fish. A hive of activity. As usually lots of people trying to sell you things, but that’s Ethiopia! Take a walk in the park nearby there are Colobus Monkeys and birds etc.

Must not miss visiting the fish market whenever you stop by at hawassa... its an interesting place to visit specially at weekends in the morning when all the fishermen meet up to sell their catches of various fish and exotic creatures... its a bit crowded...More
