Taking the trip down South to visit Gris Gris with its unspoilt lush surroundings and beach was priceless. The cliffs are so different to the West and North of the Island. Pity it was raining on our visit there as we could, but didn't walk...More

This is where the sea actually meets the land rather than the lagoon. It is a real contrast to the rest of the coast with large rollers that rush to the shore. The ice-creams from the local van are yummy and not to be missed.

It is a small cove with heavy sea breakers coming in. An exhilarating experience. There are several other sea features to visit nearby.

The views of the coast here are worth seeing as well as the short easy walk to La Roche qui Pleur. Look out for the rock which looks like a witch!

Utterly stunning. The power of the ocean in all its glory. Don’t try swimming ever you’ll never be seen again. The wind was incredible as well.

An easy drive down from Souillac takes you to this viewpoint where you can watch waves crash onto the black rocks below. There is no bathing here as it is too rough. Afterwards, take the coast road west through Bel Ombre onto Morne Brabant -...More

If you can find your way down to the small beaches between the cliffs, yes Loads of fish there. But I would say it's too risky to do so.
