I saw many many pictures of Gorges du Verdon, I longed to come here. It looked so beautiful and you actually get to swim in this beautiful water (and it's not cold) and paddle through the gorge. You can spend a whole day here.
Highly recommend visiting if you're in the south of France. We drove from Nice to Pont du Galetas bridge (used lac-de-sainte-croix for GPS then followed the signs once we got closer) for some photos then rented a pedalo explored the gorge. It is truly beautiful...More
