A definite must if you are in Gdansk or the vicinity. The place is very moving and eerily peaceful. There were 2 school groups going round, secondary age but were respectful. One German and one Polish. Touching that the young adults were being shown the...More

We have visited Stutthof and to be honest for us it was the most important part of our stay in Gdansk. It is a history which everyone should learn. We used to "Explore Gdansk" the local tour operator to make our excursion easy and comfortable....More

The horrors of the camp come clear but not as a slap in the face. The place itself is a testimony to horrors which cannot be forgotten. Go there and take your family too. Lest we forget.

I felt very vulnerable during my visit. It was very disturbing being in a place where such inhumane brutal tortures/experiments took place. However i think that seeing this in real life gives you a better understanding of what went on during the holocaust which was...More

We took the 870 bus from Gdansk busstation, and had not booked a guide. In other words we chose to be on our own. This is not a place to go if you are looking for an enjoyable day. We have all heard about the...More

I visited the camp on a tour booked through a Norwegian Cruise that docked in Gdansk. The pleasant bus ride to the camp was about 90 minutes. The guide was excellent and lectured on Polish and WWII history en route, including extensive history of Gdansk....More

Nice area near the Baltic sea with terrible history. You can feel smell of death here and see original camp of death. We must remember what happened only 80 years ago!

James Best way to find him is to look on the Norwegian website for the excursion and name of the tour company. Apologies for not recalling. I will also see if I can find it and will post here if I do. Best, Sid
