It is an extraordinary view and it feels like we were flying. We went there on Sunday so it was crowded, but apart from that it was fantastic. Impossible to forget.

We visited this place in the late afternoon and we were nearly alone there. It is a very nice place with easy access by car (free parking, no entrance fee). The glass floor is black dotted so you don´t have a feeling like “no floor”...More

The views here are amazing and worth the trip for just that. There is wheelchair access but not onto the lower glass viewing platform. It wasn't overly crowded and there are toilets ( 50cents) a small tourist gift shop and a cafe.

Hired a car for the day and this was one of our calling points from Funchal. Roads quite twisty/hairy and I think parking could be quite busy but it was ok for us. Free to go and walk on the platform. 50cents to use the...More

I suffer from vertigo, which I challenge all the time "feel the fear and do it anyway". I just had to have a go at this. I visited twice, the first time I only managed to get onto the edge and could barely look down....More

We went to the cliffs on the 'Yellow Bus Tour'. Great spot for seeing the view and enjoying the cliffs. The glass floor on the platform is excellent and makes for an interesting place for people watching as some folks hesitate and get down on...More

There is a service bus that goes there but infrequent. You can also take a bus to Miradour and walk about 10 mins to the viewpoint. Hilly. There is also the little green train from Camera Do Lobos to the viewpoint. Takes... More
