Lovely view. Please make sure to wear good walking shoes as I didn’t realise that the walk was actually quite steep, and at some parts it was quite slippy for being up high. There was also an amazing stall, with a man selling coconut leaf...More

Enjoyed a drive and walk out in this section of Guadeloupe. Stunning scenery and excellent views to the other islands that make this chain up. Nice walk to the highest point. Worth a visit.

Fantastic views back up the peninsula and to neighbouring islands. Café and local sellers offer homemade ice cream (coconut sorbet is wonderful), and drinks. No bathrooms but plenty of bushes. There is a good path up to the Point, but must be slippy and exposed...More

When we arrived at the beach of the Pointe des Chateaux, we were amazed! There were 5 huge boulders. It looked like a castle. We stood there, enjoying the ocean attacking the boulders. It was splendid! We walked up the mountain and there was a...More

This place is quite a drive, but that does not withhold large groups to travel there. If you do not mind to share the views with others, this is definitely a recommendation!

A great easy bike to an amazingly View. The large beach on your left is fun to visit and walk through the waves.

The place is nice and picterosque. But there are many places like this. Definitely not worth long travel diversion to get here.

The rocks were rugged, the beach was washed by waves rougher than most of the island , but the sea was still warm and we swam with a backdrop of the cross on the promontory watching the thin line of human ants as they climbed...More

Pointe des Chateaux is also know as "Castle Point". It is tough to beat these seaside and beach views! A photographers dream location. The rock formations in the bay give this point a castle look. You can get some really great dramatic photos or selfies...More

We went toward sunset and the colors were unbelievable. However, it meant a drive back in the dark (to Point a Pitre) which wasn't so fun. It would be much easier if you were only driving back to St Francois, or even Sainte... More
