Lovely place to hang out while waiting for your flight. Especially since the airport doesn't have much space or many amenities.

Not many people use this beach. It is close to Vigie airport so occasional aircraft noise. Has a few bars and public toilets ( at a charge) sun beds are available. Nice to stroll along and swim in the sea.

I walked off the Freedom of the Seas and took a random cab ... tipped the cab driver and he hooked me up with beach chair guy and my lunch spot -- at the far end of the wooden structures. See photo of my plate...More

We visited Vigie Beach several times during our two weeks in St. Lucia. There is some beach erosion and part of it abuts a graveyard, but don't be deterred. This beach is practically IN Castries and has shade and a few vendors selling drinks and...More

Nice and clean beach, just alongside the runway. The problem starts when you want to have a bite : no price written anywhere. From a quick talk with a waitress, a dish should have been around 6 to 8 USD. Several airport staff were having...More

As we have previously stayed in St Lucia and seen all the sights we decided not to stray too far from Castries and spend the morning here. Only a short taxi ride, but pricey $30 return I think. Beds and umbrellas for hire $20. Bars...More

This is a very nice, long beach, plenty of room. It’s a short cab ride or a 25 minute walk from the cruise terminal. You’ll find a vendor who rents chairs and umbrellas, several options for freshly made local food, and restrooms. Plenty of room...More

We decided to "escape the compound" of our resort and walk up to the Vigie lighthouse, from which there were fabulous views, out to sea and also of the cruise liners making for their sunset exoduses. The walk is easy, either by airport parallel road...More

This was our third visit to St. Lucia. We had previously visited the Pitons via a catamaran trip and Pigeon Island, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed, but this time we wanted a simple beach day. Our first thought was to go to Reduit Beach,...More

Visited island with Freedom of the seas and wanted to have a quick swim. I ran to the beach not far away. There were some bars, but I did not check for a sunbed as I just spent 15 mins. swimming

Not really any rocks or coral for fish habitat. The water was clear, just not much to see.

Yes. Because you have to pay $1 to get in, they're very clean, and have as much running water as you need to get sand out of your gear. They are part of the section of shops and amenities right on the water's edge.
