We were fortunate enough to have been provided a tour by the General Manager, who was so kind and informative. It was one of the highlights of our trip. He let us smell, taste and touch some of the plants. He helped us spot the...More

Park itself is very nicely laid out. Not a lot of color but it was fall, so maybe that's why. We knew we wanted to see the Blue Iguanas so we bought the package that included the Blue Iguana Recovery Center guided tour. They made...More

We took our teens to the Queen Elizabeth Botanic Park, mostly to see the blue iguanas. It took about 45 minutes from West Bay where we were staying. We arrived a little before our 10:00 tour and looked around the small gift shop. The guide...More

We had a nice time here, although I have to say that I've seen much nicer gardens (Buchard Gardens in Vancouver, Huntington Library in Los Angeles). The color garden was the most spectacular. Great place to buy cheaper souvenirs. It was terribly hot and the...More

This is a beautiful quiet place with a lot of great plants. Bring your bug spray, mosquitoes are abundant.

Park has quite a variety of palm trees, several of which I have never seen on any island. Behind the entrance building is a very nice patio with fountains & ponds & really nice plantings. If you intend to hike the very wide path in...More

Overall, very nice gardens. Different themed gardens as well as a shady wooded trail. We didn't think the iguana tour was worth it. Especially since you can see them just wandering around in parts of the garden.

The tour is well worth the money! Our guide, Hal, was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna we saw. The park is very well designed and you'll get to see some of the iguanas running around if you are lucky.

It's quite far. I don't think many cruise shippers visit it because they often have to be back on the ship by the early afternoon. That said, in a car I would leave about 40-50 minutes to get from the cruise terminal to... More

Yes there is a fee. They also seem to have a discounted fee, if you buy the Botanic Park with Pedros´Castle together. This gives a substantial saving and both are recommended to visit if you want to learn a bit about the... More
