Cool castle and very well done exhibits, but don't pass on the opportunity to chat with the "guards" (reenactors). The guy we knew gave us so many insights into the history and culture of the island - made it very special.

This is a beautiful place to just enjoy nature or have a picnic. It was also great for learning a little history about St. Kitts. The pictures we got here were breath taking.

Very interesting and fantastic views to boot. Would recommend good walking shoes/boots as it's quite a steep walk to the top.

We had a fantastic time exploring the remains of the fortress- there are plenty of exhibits throughout to provide more historical background. The fortress is huge and spans over a large amount of land. The area is very well preserved and allowed for full exploring.

We used Johnson VIP Tours . He is here on TripAdvisor. 869-663-3889. Safe driver. He also has tour friends on Nevis that can sit you up on that Island. This was our first trip to St.Kitts we stayed 7 days. Enjoy
