A must see. A peaceful ride down the Caroni River and down to an opening in the river with several islands. Thousands of scarlet Ibis come to roost on one of the islands transforming it from green to red in minutes.

This is a great way to spend a quiet couple of hours, seeing some amazing wildlife 'up close and personal', on a guided boat trip around the mangrove swamps. The cruise set off in late afternoon, to catch the scarlet ibis on their way back...More

Ulric was a wealth of local knowledge! He took his time and explained small details. The bake and shark at Richard’s on Maracas beach, as suggested was phenomenal! I highly suggest if you are on a time crunch and want to take in as much...More

We went one evening in April (start 4:00pm return 6:30pm) and took a US$ 10 trip by boat into the park. We saw:
- Boa constrictor
- Silky ant-eater
- 5,000+ Scarlett Ibises
any many more.
This is a must trip if you...More

Thank you for pointing out the error in our information, we will have it adjusted. Our private version of that tour is 3.5 hours long, however, we are also the tour operator for the Caribbean Princess. The tour offered on board is essentially the same tour but instead it is 4 hours long. We would advise that you book it at the ship’s shore excursion desk (or online if offered). If you’d still prefer the private version of the tour, yes we can pick up at Hyatt Regency.
